Good option for the price point. I've got an szone waxed canvas messenger and it's durable as ever over the past few years. Only issue is the magnetic buttons that aren't the most secure, but it looks great overall

why is it that when you use the handles, there is a strap that rounds AROUND the bag
to give it support,
BUT
when you sling it, it doesnt have the same AROUND the bag support ?
Hope you can suggest an affordable waxed canvas tote that can ba a suitable work bag for smart casual work environments?
That's a good question! I don't know any totes, but this bag could work for that too.
The leather is backed by the waxed canvas because it's thin and cheap. :P

Unfortunately this bag is mass produced in China. Where they pay a kid a bowl of rice a day work. I have seen this bag on quite a few websites. Now there are people selling them on Etsy they are not making these bags. I make waxed canvas bags and the material alone would cost more then $40.00. It is a rotten shame that we live in a Kmart & Amazon world where everything is mass produced overseas and is complete cheap garbage.
