I always wonder what you guys mean when you say our culture. Do you mean Hip Hop culture or Black culture. It's definitely not the best channel to learn about Black culture so you must mean Hip Hop.

Math is right about the NY perspective on LA. I remember first seeing Boyz in the hood in the 90s thinking, they live in such nice looking houses why are they gang banging?
if you never seen or been to LA you wouldnt understand....when you go to any city you cant just relax aint no vacation...

As an former LA resident , Watts to be exact … what happens a lot of time for out of towners is they don’t understand LA’s unfortunate operation. Yes you’re from the Streets , the trenches , etc but LA is not the same. Like they said with Nipsey , hell there’s been OGs who was bigger than Nipsey in LA and met the same fate … and today?? It’s NUTS in LA. Y’all don’t here about the internal deaths in the city…. Even when I go back and visit home , soon as I get off the plane I’m running into people I know and dealt with way back…. Excellent convo brothas! Honestly, I’ve always thought to myself when watching your show “what type of protection exists for you all?” While you’re sitting in there with all the superstars that come through, with the state of society today, what’s stopping somebody from popping in there and robbing the set? This pops in my mind because I’m overly paranoid about sitting in places and letting my guard down even for just a minute. I stay strapped at all times, I’m always facing the door, I’m always keeping my head on a swivel and I’m always ready for multiple scenarios. It’s just a thought.
They generally keep that door locked. I’ve wondered the same thing. But not to mention the barbershop they are in is pretty respected too. They keep someone at the door , they all seem pretty alert thank the heavens
