Loved this garden tour! And Stewart, you’ve gotten all fancy with the intro, inserted mini segments and outfit of the day! Way to keep it fresh and current, you two ❤️
9/27/24 Greetings, Linda. We're enjoying this video once again, and re-visiting your prior fall garden-inspired videos. We miss your elegant English Tudor, and how you decorated your beautiful dining room for the seasons. We will re-enjoy your 11/20/22 video, anticipating your Thanksgiving dining room decor.
Such a charming, tranquil space. And something I can relate to, size wise. Being able to make little garden rooms in an intimate space is such an accomplishment. This was wonderful. I do love exploring others backyards. I do tend to wonder as I walk by homes, what is behind the curtain.
Fabulous. A peaceful charming garden. Thank you all for sharing. Going to watch this video again, you can't have enough of a good thing. Love from England.
This was lovely. I will refer to this for my next years Garden. So many ideas. I would have loved to see her studio! I am an artist and have a studio in my garden too!
Probably my favorite garden tour you have done! Thank you!I have many memories of Lincoln Terrace growing up. My grandmother was a nurse at old University Hospital and lived in the area.
I am truly awed that this garden was installed in one year. It looks so mature already. The plant choices are appropriate for your area, although I kept looking for some Encore Azaleas which I really love. It was great to see the joy on Linda’s face as she was taking it all in for the first time. Thanks to the owner for sharing this with us! It is a work of art for sure.
Hi Linda. Just love the new intro to your channel. Very refreshing modern change. Wow! This garden is just beautifully done. Very relaxing & the thought that went into just spectacular. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I didn't mention this in the video, but another reason we only used one lion was because the other lion in the pair was awake with crazy looking eyes! Haha!
This backyard garden is gorgeous. I particularly like the way the Yaupan Hollies are pruned, the variety of shrubs and the flower colors. The front yard should be the next project since it’s rather boring, and the homeowners appreciate pretty things. Thanks so much for allowing us to view their lovely yard. 😊
Hello Linda! Thank you for the wonderful walk in the garden! I liked the huge vases that give the garden a certain style. Sculpture of William Shakespeare wonderful👌🌻🐦😹🐩
I truly enjoy the work that the landscape architects design. Thank you for taking us into another beautiful garden. I would love to see more of the garden walks.
Oh, how GORGEOUS!! I loved seeing the before and after pictures. That really showed how incredible the transformation was! I loved the blue pots and gravel, the variety of perennials, and the stunning artistic features ( especially the lion!) Roger's vision was just spectacular! I so very much ENJOYED joining you for a lovely walk in this English garden...Sending love and blessings!
Such a nice garden tour, Linda. John and company did a wonderful transformation of this space. So many beautiful little spaces. Absolutely love it. The brick patio area is so cozy….a perfect place to sit and relax in the shade.
@@carolinaelizabethart I'm not sure what artist you mean. And, I love your artist's potager tour - is it yours? Sweet peas, ranunculus, Minoan Lace - cool combination! A gardener's touch with an artist's eye.

I LOVED this tour!!!!!! I am going to try some of those ideas. What bottles of beer are blue???? Why are the symbols below locked? I am still paying to use them.
Bud Light Platinum I had to make two trips to my neighborhood liquor store to find it! haha! We also used SKYY Vodka bottles and some blue medicine bottles.
I wish I could give you a source for the fountain. It’s a piece that had been at our office for more than 25 years. I can’t find it in any of our current suppliers’ inventories. It may have been ‘edited’ out of a garden or maybe an estate sale find.
Yes, it's hardy here. Being in a pot makes a little more vulnerable - we have clients with the same cultivar in pots that survived our Big (-15) Freeze.
Such beautiful pots but I would be afraid to leave them outside in the winter in our zone 6A. Do you not need to bring precious pots inside during the winter?
We took extra precautions to prevent freeze damage. First, they are high-fired porcelain, so they are non-porous. Each pot is slightly elevated on porcelain tiles to prevent water standing in the bottom of the pot. We used styrofoam peanuts in place of gravel for drainage - if soil inside the pot freezes, they will absorb pressure. Pots are lined with foam to absorb expansion pressure if the soil freezes as well. A few pots have lids which are sealed with silicone caulk to prevent any water getting inside or sitting in the rim. And... we have our fingers crossed for extra protection! Check back after a couple of winters and we'll let know how it all works.
I love the square concrete planters on each side of the studio door at 21:41. Does anyone know the manufacturer, or a retailer for them? Great design for this garden and a wonderful tour!
I wish I could give you a source for the planters. We’d had them at our office for 25+ years and I couldn’t find them in any of our current suppliers’ inventories. Thanks for your nice comments!
Loved, loved the NEW intro! Your pink dress is charming, may we know where you purchased it (unless you already mentioned it, in that case I zapped!) ? 💓
Thank you so much for another beautiful garden to explore and enjoy! The videography was excellent. It wonderful also to see a newer garden for those of us just starting out. The following is offered with love: I did not care for the new format, really chopped up. It created a disrupted feeling tone, not tranquil like all your other videos.
It should have a pretty long life in the pot. Another client has had the same cultivar in a smaller pot for at least six years. Gingkos are notoriously slow-growing.
Lovely content. What color is the fence???? Is it a gray, a soft black, black green???? Also love your table cloth. I am going to order but need to know what the background color is of this table cloth as shown by you. This was so wonderful. I would like very much to find a landscape professional like Roger.
The color we used on fence is dark grey with a definite blue cast - Sherwin Williams Cyberspace SW7076. Sea Serpent SW7615 has a definite Navy Blue tone.
My apologies! I feel like a cook who shares a recipe with one ingredient missing 😖 The plant is Artemisia stelleriana Silver Brocade. Like so many herbs, this plant like good drainage and a gravel mulch.
‘Controlled Chaos’ is exactly how I describe my approach to many of our projects. I like structure, but love to give Nature room to do its own thing in contrast.
Why do people always prioritize aesthetic garden walkways over functional ones? Those flagstones look nice but are a pain to maintain and more importantly are a dangerous tripping hazard to anyone with even minimal mobility impairments. Decomposed granite would have been a better, safer, option.
Agree with you on this comment. It's the only negative for me in this design. Tripping and falling is an issue especially as we gardeners age! Whenever I view garden tours I'm always thinking about how the design will age with the gardener. But when I was younger I never thought of these things.😉
Currently working on a landscape design where we've eliminated any steps around the house. There's a considerable level change in the back, but fortunately the lot is large enough for expansive, gently sloping paths that are important elements of the design.
Too many commercials with your intersections of what's coming up also. Not a good idea. I watch all your videos and they come according to what's next.
Love this designer’s demeanor, he is so easygoing in his mannerisms.
