Good to see that video Jase. Doing that road in March, taking a 5 day trip, but turning off on to Bluff link. Then to Howitt Hut and down to Wonnangatta via King Billy, Zeka Spurr, Crooked river to Dargo and back home. So looking forward to it. Thanks mate. Cheers, BobbyB.
That'll be great mate. King Billy is a really nice drive, don't forget to look for the tree!!! How are you getting from Wonnangatta to Crooked River? Cynthia Range or other? Will be a great trip mate.
@@OffTheBeatenPathAus The high track on Wonnangatta, to Humfray, on to Wombat, to Cynthia and then to Talbotville for the night. Check out the old sly grog shop up at Noonans track, a quick beer at Dargo then down to Bairnsdale and up to Cooma heading home. Really looking forward to it. I'm just waiting for the mail man to deliver my OTBP patches as we speak. Cheers mate, BobbyB.
@@bobbyb9371 Hey Mate, sounds epic, that'll be a great drive! Haven't quite got the patches in the mail yet mate sorry. I was away all weekend and still trying to find them after my recent house move but will get them out to you ASAP! Thx
Loved this one mate, honestly nice to see one a bit shorter than normal. Looked to be some really beautiful views of the river and such driving that track too. One of the nicer ones I've seen recently I think. About time you got some decent rubber on the 76 but I thought you would know how to drive a manual by now lmfao.
Yeah very scenic trip along the river and very accessible to anyone really. Gotta keep it real, I could edit out the stalls but then.... that' wouldn't real would it :-)
G'day Jason, Excellent content mate keep it up. Thank you for sharing your experiences in the mighty high country it inspires me to get out an hit the tails. I have question regarding your fuel consumption. How many litres of fuel do you use on the black top in the 100km range?
Isn't that the question.... thing is the ODO is out, because when it records 100km I've actually done more than that since putting the 33's on the car. I 'think' its around 15L/100km, either way I'm not unhappy with it.
Can’t believe the state of the Upper Jamieson Hut, all the graffiti was removed a 6-7 months ago I reckon when they done a heap of too it. Such a shame. Or is this an older video? I’m the same mate, haven’t done that area either. 🤦🏽
Was filmed back in March, so possibly been removed since this was filmed. You know me mate, well behind on editing and posting, too much time tripping :-)
I have no trouble with my S7 Samsung tablet. It runs all maps including HEMA and gives zero trouble. It's also MUCH faster than the junk old android tablet lurking inside the HEMA tablets.
Yeah seems to be the go lots of people running android or Apple tablets with a variety of APP's and they all seem happier than those of us using HX2's or HX1's for that matter.
The maps at the start of the video are generally hema maps that I've purchased a digital copy of running on memory map on my PC. In the car I've been using a Hema HX2 running hema maps but that'll have to change...
Jason 100% agree, the VHC is my therapy too 👌
Definitely mate. So true. :-)
Good stuff Jason, that campground was Noonans flat camping area, if I remember rightly.
Thanks Mate, I had no idea was just looking for the bright light!! :-)

Hey mate sorry if you've answered this previously but what maps are you using to navigate around? Cheers and thx for the vid.
