He is right because I have seen my grandmother do fasting on every ekadashi. We used to critise her in starting saying that she will feel weaker but now I know that we should fast for atleast 1 or 2 days in a month to relax our digestive organ's muscles as well as for increasing metabolism. And I believe that fasting 1 day with only water intake is very good as it detoxify you body and it is also good for removing 'pitha dosh' that is extra inner heat of body, and makes your skin glow and removes pimple also.
And I also suggest that fasting for more than two days a month or fasting for two continuous days or fasting without water is not good and it's not suggested untill and unless your are a very healthy and routinely person.
    Thank you.

Have been doing intermittent fasting for almost 3 months and i have never felt this better. What i did was to eat only breakfast and lunch, I skipped dinner. The first 3 days were tough as i eat dinner daily so i get my hunger at dinner time. But when ever i feel hungry i just drink 2 glasses of water and the hunger automatically disappears. I even eat carbs at my eating times but i was very focused to control my portion size. By duing thisway i have lost 20 kgs in three months. And also drink water 2-3 litres to keep you hydrated. For anyone who’s willing to do intermittent fasting just give it a try and within few months you’ll see a difference. A real difference.🙂

Been fasting since May 2020. It's been amazing. I fast every Tuesday along with my dad. Abstain from food till evening and then have dinner. It's amazing. Quarantine did not got me to put excess weight and also fasting is a form of तप, which allows you to have better control over your body. Now it's really easy to abstain from food on Tuesdays. Never knew I could do that. Good luck for beginners!

My mind & body is attuned with the pattern of Ekadasi after decades of practice. My body starts sending me signals a couple of days beforehand somehow. More than often I actually look forward to it. Usually in the month of May we have 3 Ekadasis & the last 1 full Puroshottham Maas (month) we had 2 additional Ekadasi's.
You're right about riding out the hunger wave, that's the tough part then it's cool.
Loved the confirmation that fasting this way is classed as a free CHOICE and not an imposed STARVATION!
Look forward to sharing this video with those I have been conveying the same message to for years. They may pay attention as it'llbe coming from another person passionateabout learning, sharing & caring about the health of our fellow beings as well as our own. Hopefully they'll restart the practice of intermittent fasting.

I've always been in love with eastern philosophy and culture. I follow a similar regiment as your video describes, the main difference is I use my big meal for dinner instead of breakfast. Does this disrupt the flow of my fast or make anything more difficult for my body? My daily fasting period is from 6pm at night, to 2pm the next day. My first meal @ 2pm is normally a bowl soup, or raw fruits, then around 5-6pm I eat a health conscience meal of good meats, and complex carbs. I make a weekly homemade soup of cabbage, kale, carrots, onions, beets, garlic and whatever else is fresh the day I hit the grocery store that I'll eat on throughout the week. no added salts/carbs, just raw veggies and spices. Any tips/adjustments/comments on my routine would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you for the exceptional material you put out, definitely earned a sub here with an already incredible following you have! Wonderful work.

I found intermediate fasting is very beneficial for me. I started my fasting from 7 pm by eating healthy foods and I will eat my next meal on 11 am
At 11 am I eat fruits( 200 cal ) and by leaving 30 min I eat my meal.
Like this I started before 3 weeks and now I have extraordinary results.
    1. My pimples are totally vanished.

@@mirchacastelan3277 Peace be with you. Ramadan is the upcoming lunar month. We Muslim fast all the days of Ramadan for developing our moral values. We all try to abstain from all kind of sin during this days so that we can start a new lifestyle, a new journey from here. We seek forgiveness and the mercy of God. The rich Muslims gives jakat(donation/ 2.5% of their wealth) to the poor. The capable people invite others for iftar(breaking fast) and serve food. The middle class family give fitr (donation like food or money) to the lower class, yatim(parentsless), miskin(poor). In a word, everyone takes care of each other. Our fasting is not only physical it's also spiritual. We abstain from bad deeds as we abstain from food. You can say it as a restoration month of a year or a training period. The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur’ān was revealed as guidance for mankind, and as clear signs that show the right way and distinguish between right and wrong. So those of you who witness the month must fast in it. But the one who is sick, or is on a journey (should fast) as much from other days (as he missed). Allah intends (to provide) ease for you and does not intend (to create) hardship for you. All this is so that you may complete the number (of fasts as prescribed) and proclaim the Takbīr of Allah for having guided you, and (so) that you may be grateful. Quran 2:185
