Loved Titanfall 1 was just upset that the "campaign" was played out in multiplayer PvP matches. But, was excited about Titanfall 2 and did play the multiplayer a little. Can't remember why, but I didn't like the multiplayer as much as Titanfall 1, and therefore I stopped playing it. Game might've gotten over shadowed by a different game release at the time too.

Firestorm was honestly incredible. The ring of fire added an essence of terror to the ring so common in other BR's due to it completely destroying everything. Amazing that they could do it without hurting gameplay. On top of that, BFV in general would make this list. If they added one more year of production, the new maps, vehicles, factions, etc. that would have been added honestly could have kept the game alive for another year or two and give more time to the production of 2042. @DuHasst123 Год назад

It was horribly designed. It was a throwaway game for DICE. They left mechanics in the game that weren't ever intended for that game. Like they left headshot bonuses which encouraged people to sit back and try and earn score chains from a mile away. The spawn system was terrible. They divided the teams into two, and you had no choice on which half you were on. The issue with this was that the "spawn on the front" option had you spawn on the furthest member of your half of the team. Bringing this full circle, guess who was the furthest person back on your side of the team? The snipers trying to whore score chains. Last thing that sucked was the chokepoints. This game was really just a bunch of DICE experiments and the biggest one was map design. The chokepoints probably wouldn't have been so bad if they had fixed the score chains and spawn system, but they never did.
Those two issues alone ruined that game for me and the overall flow of matches.

The Division had a lot of red flags leading up to launch. The way they cut away from enemies whenever combat broke out in the trailers to hide how spongey they were was one. Another red flag was the strange focus on the ability to close car doors. Not open them for cover. Not open them to drive them. But to close them while touching them.
They also barely touched upon what the pvp would really be. Sure, I remember the first few weeks of the game being out and getting almost everyone in the DZ to work together to wipe out bosses and extract loot. But that passed quickly when the playerbase died off from rampant hacking. Which Ubisoft never really took care of. Even with Division 2, there's still a huge chance that a cheater will laser beam you while completely invisible underneath you.

For me, all Assassin's Creed games multiplayers could have been so much more (especially Brotherhood one where you were told an actually story which was closely tied to singleplayer story, and don’t know why exactly, but for me back in the day this experience was mindblowing). I think that if only they would have continued down the path of OG Assassin’s Creed games and refined the gameplay to be as smooth, stylistic, fast and fun as possible and integrated it all in a multiplayer which would thrive on it, we could have gotten an amazing game. Also, Splinter Cell: Blacklist multiplayer for me was an astonishing experience. If only it would have been supported and developed more. I think it could have been a very interesting, somewhat asymmetrical (in terms of gameplay) PvP game (maybe on the level of DbD and such or even more)

It was a complicated game which I loved, but it was marred by big bugs that turned it into a internet joke and once the community decides something sucks, its hard to come back from that. I must disagree. Part of Titanfall's balance is that, while the pilot play is very fast-paced and up close (almost opposite of most Battlefield maps) requiring a lot of movement skill and accuracy to dominate, everyone WILL get multiple titans. In the words of Sir Swag, even the worst player can get something done with a 10 tonne death machine. Titanfall is too close and packed to really work in a large setting. I'd say 8 is the hard max for balance.

I met one of my best friends on crysis 3's multiplayer years ago, very fond memories of that experience.
I don't think Titanfall 2 failed in any way, it just didn't go crazy with it's player count. Yeah the release window stifled what could have been but the game didn't really suffer for it, it had consistent and numerous content drops that added classic maps and more customisation options, more titans more guns. The hacking catastrophe was more putting the game to bed rather than choking the life out of it, as player numbers had dwindled massively by then. Since that point, the game has stabilized and still has a loyal player count. The game isn't dead, just living quietly.

I think both BF3 and BF4 could be on this list after they stopped supporting them. Both games I think were A+ games but failure to maintain them really allowed them to fail. BF has so many DLC's that not everyone buys, then you're limited on what you can play with your friends, so you get stuck in revolving lobbies of the base maps. Then there are soooo many maps if you do buy the DLC's that it's almost impossible to play the maps you want to. Add in the fact dice just dropped them after a year meant you are always left with the thought of "What these game could have been". You could say the same about PUBG. Ground breaking, then almost a decade later here we are with a game that just produces new maps, but interface and graphics are still PS3 grade quality.

It wasn't just Sim City's launch and servers that were bad. The thing that i remember really angered the people who brought it (Including me), was that the Devs lied to us constantly during development about how the new engine worked. They told us each household had a family that had jobs or schools to go to and each day the citizens would go about their routines. Except it was apparent very quickly each citizen left the house at the same time, and just went to the first available job, and then at the end of work went to the first house that was available.
It completely killed the whole concept of it being a simulation and the people who lived in the city were just robotic. This is something City Skylines was able to adapt properly and its why that game is still around and Sim City is dead.

OVERKILL’s The Walking Dead was highly underrated. People made two stupid assumptions that OVERKILL didn’t squash: it was going to look like the CG trailer; it was going to play like L4D/PD2. It was actually a good stealth game. The devs were going to spend years improving it, as they did with Payday 2, and it could have been an excellent game.
Similarly, Back 4 Blood was highly underrated because people were expecting L4D3. Funnily enough, you could use the cards to make a deck that felt like L4D, but players were kind of restricted from immediately experiencing that. Plus, they’ve since slowed the game down.
