    1:52; The following versions were skipped: 20.10 'Groovy Gorilla', 21.04 'Hirsute Hippo', and 21.10 'Impish Indri'.

      Yes, because they're not LTS (Long Term Support) versions. You can upgrade from one Ubuntu LTS version directly to the next one.

    is 22.04 stable version ??? & will my files be safe / not lost while upgrading from 20.04 to 22.04 ???

      Yes it's stable, Ubuntu 22.04 came out back in April and the official upgrade came out this month.
      The upgrade will not remove your files, but you should still have a backup just in case.
      If you don't want to upgrade, it's safe to keep 20.04 until April 2025.

    What extension did you use for the system monitor on the top?

    • @TheComputerGuy96
      @TheComputerGuy96  2 года назад

      The one that disappeared after the upgrade was done? This one: extensions.gnome.org/extension/120/system-monitor/
      Apparently there's a newer version for the newer GNOME (see comments on that page) but I haven't tried it.

    Sorry my question is off topic. On my ubuntu appeared the inscription "a problem has occurred and system can't recover....". I did it step by step as indicated in your video, but then my screen just turned black and there is not even a cursor on it, what should I do? restarting the laptop did not help

      Sounds like it has the same problem that I showed in my other video: ruclips.net/video/DsXTFIvSjS4/видео.html If following the steps in that video and pinned comment does not work, unfortunately I don't know what's wrong.

    "I havent edited that file, so it should be safe to delete/replace"
    Works for some important company.
    Other guy edited it
    Guy replace it - deletes important shit

    I'm surprised your upgrading now
    I have been rocking with Ubuntu 22.04 for some time

      You could upgrade previously, but the official upgrade came out a few days ago with 22.04.1

      This is why my old laptop didn't display an upgrade message to Ubuntu 22.04

    What about your files?

    • @TheComputerGuy96
      @TheComputerGuy96  3 месяца назад

      You should always back up your files, but they will not be deleted during the upgrade.

      @@TheComputerGuy96 is 22.04 stable and not causing people issues now?

    • @TheComputerGuy96
      @TheComputerGuy96  3 месяца назад

      Absolutely! Like the version number says, Ubuntu 22.04 is from 2022. It's had plenty of updates these past two years so it's very stable. And it's supported until 2027 (five years after its release).
