Good morning Karin!, thanks so much. Interesting question, maybe a short spotlight on my Dad, great idea, let’s see what I can put together. Thanks
Your dad is a true legend behind his camera and colorful paint brushes!! What a blessing!
@@KS-ml5qz he sure is
Hey Matt, love the old structure and property videos you've been posting! Think it adds a side note to your adventures and treasures. Please bring us more! And as always, watch out for those really old houses and stay safe!
Thanks Cheryl, I do love exploring those houses, on the look out for more.
Hello! NJ!! Wow, wow! on dad's art work! Love how the dishes clean up so nicely. Sweet marble and super buttons! Really enjoyable video. Thanks. S
Thanks so much Az.
A-MAZ-ING FINDS! The coin and gold to boot. Love the flowery plates. Never saw a Mason with a design around the top. And the paintings were so beautiful. 😍

Good morning Matt. Some great finds there. Glad you found rest of melamine dishes at old house. Neat jar find too. A lot of goodies there. Happy weekend. 🌴🌺
Thanks Sally, happy weekend!
Hello from your neighbor in Delaware! Fantastic finds this week. That 1717 farthing is impressive. I'm so glad you went back to the old house. Preserve and reuse that which you can. Nice day to go looking for treasure! Keep well and see you next week. 😊
Preserve and reuse! Exactly, dishes are already in circulation in the house.
Great finds, Matt! That dump coin is amazing! 😲 I like the brass drawer handle. They dont make 'em like that anymore. And thank you for saving the green Scapular & Holy cards from the abandoned house. Have a great week & see ya next Saturday. Your friend from Nawth Jersey, Carolyn
Thanks Carolyn!!, it was a great week and love those religious pieces.
Tremendously successful treasure hunts Congratulations Matt👏
Thanks Tom!!
I LOVE those beautiful plates you found! So pretty!!!
Thanks!, they are already in circulation in the household, lol.
Good morning Matt, hope you and your family have a great Easter. Say hi to my favorite Artist.Nice plates
Thanks Gloria , I will and likewise!
The poem Abandoned Farmhouse by Ted Kooser is appropriate for that sad house.
I sure do enjoy your videos!
Well thanks so much and I will enjoy researching that poem, this house was originally the main house on a large piece of farmland.
The old house somehow look nicer on your dad's canvas. Great video as usual. Tammy🌻
It sure does, thanks Tammy.
Love the revisit to the old house. I remembered the first visit, I think it was in the barn or garage it looked like some old iron fence panels looked like cast iron might be worth checking out 😊. Congratulations on your find GOLD RING 😊. Keep me posted 👍
Yes I did see those , will revisit., thanks!
That coin is amazing, if it could only tell of its' travels! It's crazy that you found the gold band so close to the coin. That old house makes me so sad; it has such great details. I love the dishes and buttons and the old bottles, as well. What a great week you had! Thanks so much for sharing:)
Thanks Kathi, oh the stories it could tell….it was such a fun week.
Good morning! Excellent video love the old houses.
Thanks Dawn!
What awesome finds in this video. Thank you for all the info on the items. 😁
You’re welcome Jan.
Great coin Matt, congrats on the gold. Those plates were beautiful. Great trip to the abandoned houses 👋👍
Thanks Team Lynch!!!
Marbles!!!
Lol, yes!!!
Wow Matt, that house is still giving. How cool.
Sure is!!!
If for no other finds, I’m here for the marbles and the blue glass (in this case the Nivea Cream bottle… The smell always reminds me of my Mom!). But the HOUSE!!! I photograph old houses, often going back and finding them gone.😢This one was beautiful! The luck of finding the dishware!!
Lol, love the marbles!!! Thanks for checking in my friend, hope you are well!
@@underthesurface4435 I am well, Thank you!
Love the art. Nice dishes. Pretty soon you’ll have service for 8. Amazing coin, that is a hot spot to search.
It sure is Denise , we will be back.
Great video Matt and congratulations on the 1717 coin!
Thanks Aad!, much appreciated
Good morning grasshopper you have done well this week. Can you detect the yard at the old house? I have to get up my wife is going to make me do stuff today. Stay safe say hello to the family for me.
Aaaaah “Grasshopper”, lol, not sure I can detect there, researching possible permission, but I have witnessed a few detect the property already. Your wife is a good egg, will do.
That house - so glad your Dad immortalized it in a painting. Why are they tearing it down? Is some type of a salvage company going to come in and salvage some of the beautiful woodwork, etc? Thanks for the video Matt - have a great week.
It now is really a danger to even walk through, no actually plans on immediate demolition though, maybe a few more trips in to salvage.
Excellent week of treasures. I love the all the dishes. Will you go metal detecting after they demo the houses? See you next week.
Thanks and yes hopefully.
That has got to be the shortest squat Noxzema bottle that I've ever seen 😮 Dude you've got some great places to hunt and mudlark!!
It sure is and has some good age to it, the glass was kind of wavey , definitely one of the earlier ones. I’m very lucky to have some great places close to home.
Congrats on the coin and ring! I had never heard of a "dump" farthing, very interesting! I admit I am not one for real bright colors but I love those plates! They remind me of a country cookout or picnic! I wonder what is in the ground and under the bushes there, thinking about metal detecting it? I love exploring old houses and places. A new big jar for your marbles perhaps? Wonderful finds!
Thanks Debra! Country cookout or picnic exactly!, I’m wondering also…
❤
Epic find.
Thanks my friend.
Helllooo from Ioooowwwwwaaaa, your dad’s paintings are beautiful. Another marble for the skull. Your finds this week had so much history. Thanks for sharing. God bless you and your family.
Thanks Debbie from iooooo,,, let’s find some treasure, waaaaa. God bless you and your family.
@@underthesurface4435 yes, let’s find treasure 👍👍
Some awesome finds this week! That dump farthing especially. I’m sure whoever dropped that 300 years ago could never have guessed that its finding would be so exciting for anyone, let alone a bunch of people.
4:21 any idea what that is? Seeing it on camera, I just realized I found the little bowl part of that contraption a couple weeks ago. Now I want to go find some abandoned houses, but to be honest, I’m afraid of somebody calling the cops on me for trespassing. 😅
Thanks Becca!, not sure what it is , yet…and agree wholeheartedly…so exciting. I understand the anxiety of “trespassing “, these happen to be directly across the street from where I work, easy in/out access but I certainly would explore many other houses but would attempt permission first.
Wow............
For sure!!!
Looked up in red book 2021 ..lots of variations pg 46 47
Nice score
@@johnantonacci3027 I’ll check it out
@@johnantonacci3027 thanks my friend
If someone had the funds and no how that house would be a beautiful restoration
Agreed!
Hi Matt, this was an absolutely wonderful week for you! There were so many beautiful old treasures 😊 those houses are amazing. I saw your Dad’s painting he captured that house stunningly. The man in the chair with the pipe is amazing as always. How long does it take him to paint one of these pieces? Awesome video thanks so much 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Hi Susan!, Thanks so much. He usually takes his time over the course of 2-3 weeks approximately. The man with the pipe is my grand Uncle Eddie, who was also an artist, WWII vet and a bicycle enthusiast.
Wow Matt, you have some amazing talent in your family. Anyone else who paints or other talents?
Great treasures, Matt! Where did those incredible binoculars come from, sorry if I missed…those are really cool 🙂
A friend gifted them to me , incredible historical piece. Oh, the collection continues to grow, lol
was that a self portrait
Lol, no , that’s my Uncle Ed , who was a WW2 vet, who suffered from untreated PTSD, and was a great artist himself.
