the way the camera picks up the pink in that first portrait whenever the shadow of your hand goes over it is so cool and stunning
I actually really like how ephemeral the sunset girl is. I feel like adding too many defining lines would have taken away the grainy 70's effect. She's my fav btw.
The last one is so striking. I love the sunset vibe.
the second portrait had to be my favorite. Your technique is always stunning to watch, I really want to study it slowly
I LIKE THEM ALL !!!
42:41 the little paw stomp LOL like saying "yeah stop"
Oh my goodness didn't even notice😅🥰
Probably wins favourite video of the month. Yes, absolutely
Hahaha it was a bit funny hearing you fight against your impulses to over-define some things in every portrait 😂 It happens to me too and most times I regret it because I mess up 😭 I don't have a big set of markers so I feel lost with so many bright ass colors, but this might be what I needed to see to actually put those vibrant colors to use 😊
That flicking motion in the first one really gives the round feeling of the cheek and chin separation. And I really like how you handled the second portrait's big flat area, I wouldn't have been able to come up with your solutions. But that's exactly what I love about your videos, I learn a lot. Thank you again for your hard work 🌱🌷✨
These came out so good! Don't use the blender marker, it doesn't blend it just picks up color. I would use it maybe if you ever accidentally go too dark in an area. My favorite has to be the sunset one but they're all great
these are all so cool! can't wait to try some similar techniques. the first portrait is my fav :)
I think that it is so difficult to interpret the color in a different way; it was such a beautiful process. Thank you for sharing. I love it.
Absolutely stunning! Always a good day when you upload 💜
The Marker vids are my fave ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤍
Your work is so cooooooool! You are humble and I think your vision is amazing!
All of them look fantastic, I love how "angular" your style is. Third one is my favorite, it looks like a poster for some badass spy/detective noir movie set in the 60s (I'd definitely watch it)!
Btw, before you ruin an illustration you should know that the colorless blender doesnt actualy blend, but removes color. its good for cleaning up edges or blending light colors into white.
Yes!! W
Like why call it a blender ??
saw the sketch on your story! it's nice to see them colored ^^
First one is my fav
These were incredible. My favorite is definitely the sunset one. Very inspiring for me to be more adventurous with my art!
i looooooooove your colors
I LOVE watching you do portraits with the Ohuhu alcohol markers. I purchased the 120 set and there was definitely a learning curve for me. I'm a watercolor artist so it was definitely different! But it sure is fun to flex my artistic muscles!
That last portrait was absolutely stunning!!! Loved the approach you took 💕
your vids are my absolute favvv. love seeing your marker portraits 🦋
I like the first and the last
I also have an Oscar of my own. He's not super cuddly, and he bites a lot, but as soon as I gotta do something or leave the house, he's on my lap asking for pets 😅
What a great exercise! It's good to hear your thoughts and explanations along the way. Looking forward to the book!
the gradient one is beautiful and probably my favorite, you have inspired me to do something like this as I tend to treat my sketchbook very ‘precious’ to avoid making mistakes as much as possible but I’ve realized mistakes are inevitable. I’m slowly working my way through that ☺️
Beautiful work. Thanks🎉 for sharing
They're all gorgeous! I think the thrid is my favorite personally 🌇
ahh such a relaxing video. i love hearing your thought process throughout! the colors you picked just tickle my eyess but my favorite is probably the sunset one the gradient effect turned out really nice ❤️🌹
I really need to go through and watch all your portrait videos. I would love to make realistic portraits. The way you draw them makes it look so effortless
Third is my favorite. I love the hot pink glasses girl above, too. But i can't deny sunset girl's golden chin and neck and her beautiful eyes.
I love, love, love the final one. You can definitely tell you got into the groove more and starting to understand the process :D
So beautiful ❤️❤️
I was really amazed by the sunset girl. So stunning.
The first one... the pink is just fantastic! ❤❤❤❤
The last one is stunning. But all of them are really cool. Thanks for sharing and yes, please post more of these!
I really loved to see your thought process while drawing, whenever you said "I'm not sure, should I do it or not?" I didn't feel alone ahahahah I was getting nervous or excited in every step you make hahaha it was fun and your style is really nice!!
Loved each portratit! But my favourite is the sunset inspired one, such a fun aproach!
Chris! Chris! Chris!!😍😍😍
I loved this video. Had such a great time watching those beautiful portraits while having your comments and creative process. And your use of colours is mastery . Thank you for that video !
I enjoy watching process videos like these, especially guessing how you were gonna pull it off from watching the initial strokes. The second one is my favorite too, love how the riotous colours come together and shine coherent.
Hey I love ur art style and absolutely adore the way u sketch, I’d love if u were to make a video on like how to break down a reference and sketch it with accurate proportions? Because I feel like when I draw idk where to start mapping the proportions out.
First one! Love them all and good to see you pushing yourself with unique ideas in the last one 🥰
i loved this video! 🫶💓
Couldn't stop watching! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
So excited about your portrait book, cannot wait! I love Oscar just standing there throught the vídeo 😂
So stunning, weekend made ❤❤❤
I love your self talk 🤣. “Stop here”. “No really now stop”
I love the technique you used for the last drawing!
This was awesome! I think the first one is my fave but the others are striking too! Lovely video
First one was my fave ❤️❤️
Your art is inspiring and so beautiful! So cool to see your process :)
I loved the third one sm
Amazing video thank you for sharing
These are beautiful and I wanna draw now
I like the third one best.
Love your work ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Beautiful❤
The first one🔥
Such a chill video; was nice to have this on the background while drawing myself (altho for work)
I think they all turned out great, messing around and find out is all part of art but it sure is intimidating hahah
Some lines you had really had the subtext of "ok ok trust the process", not sure if that was the case but I sure can relate to that :'))
I love the third one. And the first. I think maybe you could have added more shadow on the blue lake at the left on the second portrait.😊But you do better than me so it's just my little opinion 😊
Amazing!
LOVE YOUR WORK !!! ❤ I Wish you would tell what color you are using, can't tell what some colors are,
was about to give up on You tube today and suddenly your video pop up ^o^so happy !! TYSM your videos have been a huge inspiration to me for years, i miss this kind of content from you, is my favorite
For better blending alcohol markers you need to use maybe more pastel colours and then mix this technique with colour pencils, it can helps to use not too much colours in painting. Also when you use alcohol markers , for smooth blending, just use dark colours at first and then light colours, cuz they make the dark ones lighter. Or use blender (0 number) at first to make a small paper area a little wet and then use two colours which you want to blend. But you should use all alcohol markers quickly for good blending. You can also check an artist Emily Hughes in RUclips to watch how she uses markers. Hope, i was helpful 👍🏻
Your marker art is always so gorgeous and this did not disappoint :)
Is there any specific colours in your travel marker case that you feel are a go to?
I've been having issues with the large range of colours so knowing your go to ones would be very helpful please 🙏
Good question.. Thought I'd get some alcohol markers but can't see myself getting a 100+ set. I think I'll start with some of my favourite colours, and expand as needed.
is it possible to have the nr or name of the markers mentioned somewhere if it's not all too much effort. maybe at the beginning of which markers where used.. thank you so much... I love your way of coloring them.. and I am learning so much... keep doing this amazing art :)
Hi there, I really enjoy watching your videos. Just curious where you find your reference photos and do you print them out or look at them digitally?
Just curious wouldn’t light to dark be a lil more ideal in the sense that dark smudges
do u prefer ballpoint bic or 0.4 for the details?

As a Canadian, I am baffled as to why you would write English in the American orthography? That is so strange. You really need to pander to them for views and change the Canadian spelling?
