IMO singing Bradley Bozeman @ center takes pressure off the the Oline. I understand everyone is down on Pipkins (again) but he played injured a lot last year. Plus Joe Alt is a premium LT. We don’t need a LT and asking a premium LT to move to RT is simply idiotic. I’d focus on WR, CB, DL before Oline… but I do understand the importance of a dominant tackle set.
I'm surprised nobody is talking about Luke McCaffrey later in the draft. Everyone from the McCaffrey family is solid. I would also like to see Frank Gore Jr.
Bloodlines aren’t everything. But I do like rice out of USC as a possession slot guy. He’s got amazing hands and basically is a clone of his dad in speed that isn’t blazing but cuts on a dime. Take the name away and he’s still a mid 2nd round grade for me. Roman Wilson is probably the best receiver outside of the X players like legette, Mitchell, Thomas jr, Nabers, maybe Odunze (he’s my wr 5) and marv. Nabers is the best of both worlds with a big wing span, an NBA vert, checks the 6’0” and up box, is 200 lbs and built like a tank and runs like a track star while being so damn aggressive and breaking tackles. That last statement is why he’s my number one. Marv broke 5 tackles all year. Nabers broke tackles on over 60% of the plays where he had an opportunity (IE NOT a catch with a toe tap, diving to the ground across the middle or going deep and beating everyone.) Marv doesn’t break tackles and doesn’t have that YAC ability. QJ has MUCH more of that but can’t catch or run routes. So Nabers 1, MHJ 2A, BTJ 2B
Anyone else terrified/excited about drafting someone like AD Mitchell who has every single tool imaginable to be the best wr in this class but seems to not give effort? I’d take a flyer on him at 37. I LOVE Keon Coleman as a Mike Williams replacement if we grabbed him in the second as well. The 40 doesn’t matter for a guy that strong. He’s a power forward. Gates ran like a 4.8
I want the RB out of USC and rice in the 3rd after we get Nabers or Thomas jr if we trade down in the 1st. We’d have to trade away a future 2nd to get BTJ and fuaga. BTJ isn’t making it past 17
Good to see you're on the Mitchell train. He's been my CB1 for a while now, and I'd be ecstatic if we traded down in the first round and were able to snag him. My ideal draft scenario is trade down with Minnesota for 11 & 23 where we take Bowers or Mitchell and then at 23 either Powers-Johnson. I also really hope we can snag Corum somehow, but I don't think he goes at 37 even if he maybe should.
Give me Bowers or Fuaga at 11 and either Dejean, JPJ, or B Thomas/AD Mitchell in a trade down and I'm also asking for Minnesotas 3rd rd this year and a 2nd or 3rd next yr or obvi a 1st next yr if u can get it.
I’m putting my chips on MHJ but I’d be happy with Nabors. I’d only be upset if we take OL or CB at 5 when WR is our highest need with those 2 on the board.
Ladd McConkey and Xavier Legette are awesome WR options outside first. Keon Coleman is another great option, better game speed. his slow 40 time could make him a value pick if available in third. Can’t wait till April 25th.
I think what we are missing too is that our hc has the best knowledge in this year draft because he was also a recruiter and Joe hoetiz with his knowledge with comp picks and mid round picks whatever we do I stand by the chargers but I also hope we do get a elite wr for our boi Herbert ⚡️⚡️
Harrison jr, nabers, odunze first round Ladd mckonkey or leggette second round They may decide to pay slater and Asante. Most likely Josh Palmer walks next year Then only Johnston, Davis under contract Feheko one year It’s makes sense cause WRs make $20-$30M a year Double dip first and second round
75% chance MHJ is off the Board (Unless Arizona trades down) I'm taking Nabers at #5, then O-Tackle in the 2nd round... A great WR next to QJ will make him 3 times better!!
I can't believe you're going Marvin Harrison you know you're going to have his daddy involved in everything and that won't be good daddy versus coach and Marvin Harrison is going to be a locker disruption down the road
If you want to play it safe the first 2 picks should include Corner, OL or DE. Might consider DT as well. WR class is too deep this year not to take advantage of picking them up later.
I'm good with MHJ, Nabers, Odunze, or Alt at 5. None of those would make me upset. I still prefer the trade-back, but we have so many amazing options at 5.
@KGCMX So ur fine with drafting a LT to play RT with the 5th overall pick? With generational WRs staring u right in your face and WR being possibly our weakest position group? O line only should b drafted in the first rd if we trade down imo but hey everyone is entitled to their opinion and I do get it but not at 5 please JH!
@WeBBoltnup4Lyfe760 I feel like Alt is like a B+ draft pick. Not a slam dunk but the dude is different, I like the pick less than Odunze at 5... so... dont hate me?
You wonder about FSU players because that team was cheated out of the playoffs and received zero exposure by not playing in the pointless bowl game. Ask Cardale Jones how he was able to win a National Championship.
If the Los Angeles Chargers do not pick Harrison , Nabers or bowser at number five you are not getting any of the three , if you do not pick them up then. you trade down you will not get a caliber receiver like those three
Did a recent mock where I traded back with Vikings, then traded up from 11 to 8 without losing our other round 1 pick. Ended up with Odunze and Powers-Johnson 😤
Odunze isn’t worth a top 15 in my eyes. Hes not going to take the lid off a defense. As a fanbase if we’ve learned 2 things it’s trenches and a bunch of avg speed big bodies don’t scare off defenses into giving our run game space to operate which in turn opens up our play action deep game which ONLY works with a burner
@@lefthanded0440 I actually agree. Nabers is my favorite WR in this draft and I'd love to see Herbert finally have a homerun threat at WR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If the Minnesota Vikings accepts our #5 for #11 & #23 , take Laiatu Latu from UCLA at #11. I love his dreams to get P.Mahomes & also to save on our salary cap. We have to build good depth at every position with good pay incase of injuries That's how you build a great team.
That would b nuts drafting an Edge in the 1st rd when that is literally the only position group we are super solid at. Next yr we should draft Edge def not this yr though and in the first rd. I wouldn't mind drafting Mohammed from CO State in like the 5th or 6th rd this yr but we got to invest in positions of need who are going to start year 1 with our day 1 and day 2 picks.
@WeBBoltnup4Lyfe760 We don't have a choice , we're paying a fortune for 2 pass rushers that takes all of our salary cap space & there getting older. A pass rusher in the 1st round will create salary cap space so we can build good depth at every position because everybody gets hurt sometimes in the NFL , GOD bless the healthy.
I don't know why you've got guys on your list that are coming off of kind of serious injuries like ACL injuries, or drafting guys that are going to be back up guys right off the bat. I know we need back upstairs, but probably in the 5th or 6th round.
Am I crazy and the only one who kinda hopes we get round 1 Wr Harrison Jr round 4 Wr Rice round 4 Rb Gore Jr??? Hahaha 2nd and 3rd getting O Line and DB
Director please please please watch Cody schraders film, he is a harbaugh guy through and through, no one is going to want to tackle this guy for 4 quarters he would be such a great pick in the 6th
Nabers will be picked by the chargers Hartz general manager are a made this clear that he is the best receiver in this class and he was looking at houses and Los Angeles, California. So he will be being picked by the Chargers
We are not picking no tight end when we already picked up two tight ends in free agency and mind you we already have tight ends that are already on our roster. they are not wasting a topic like that after losing two top receivers not happening that’s common sense but most people don’t have that
Can we just draft Malik Nabers AKA the best WR prospect in 10 years and didn’t need his daddy to make him popular and overrated? We need a burner to take the lid off, he’s the guy at 5, let’s do it
Marvin Harrison jr sprint speed was clocked faster than Tyreke hill so you should probably stop talking. You just want the biggest name. Didn’t Brian Thomas jr catch 17 touchdowns instead of Malik? Hop off the glizzy express guy.
I think you might be onto something with Edgerrin Cooper there in the 2nd. Thinking back to 9ers Harbaugh had Patrick Willis and Navarro Bowman holding the middle down. Plus the minter defense requires a good rangy linebacker that can also get to the QB. Would love the pick there
I might have said this already, but man would I love a situation where we gain some extra picks and draft Bowers. I don’t know anything about scouting, but aside from MHJ, Bowers really pops out on tape compared to the rest for me. On top of that, there’s still the possibly of drafting a good WR this year later in the draft!
Nabers at 5! I don’t wanna hear anything about potential off the field issues. The chargers passed on so many great players we need some with an edge to them in this team.
O-Line , O- Line then skill players !! If we get 11, and 23 I say Fuaga and Jackson Powers-Johnson !!!!
