This game is going to be tough, but I have faith that harbaugh will have the guys ready, and it will be a good watch.
I'm calling it right now, if this game ends up being close, the refs will give the chiefs a call. It has already been done this year!!!!! Nfl wants the chiefs to win 3 in a row. Nfl suspends derwin for playing hard? Hmmmm. Guess we will have to see. We all saw the blatant non pass interference call for the chiefs last week. It is ridiculous.

If you believe that, why do you support the chargers. Teams don't rig games, refs don't rig games, only the NFL can rig a game, and the owners would be behind it. Including Spanos. The whole idea the NFL office does anything independent from the owners is silly. The owners ARE the NFL office. So if you think it's rigged, don't watch it.

Falcons received FOUR first downs off penalties on the Chiefs, the Chiefs ZERO off penalties on the Falcons. The absurd "roughing the passer" call on Chirs Jones on the 3rd and 6 incomplete pass which kept the Falcons drive alive that ended up scoring a TD was good call, as was the Refs dog walking(THREE penalties on the Chiefs including a ridiculous PI) the Falcons down the field on their last drive, which ended up them not being able to convert on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1(refs rigged those plays, too right) = You could be that biased, but not that stupid.

In Mahomes six year career the Chiefs are the best team over ANY 6 year period in NFL history, yet the Chiefs have been called for FAR more penalties than their opponents for OVER 1,000 more penalty yards. Yea, the NFL and the Refs really helping out them damned Chiefs. Sheesh

Until they get Herbert and the pass game going we were going to get beat. This is a year of making progress. A wildcard team at best. And we should be happy with that

@@TheUnknown-qz4un disagree. I like our defense and we have a good run game. But we need our passing game to come alive to hang with the chiefs. I always figured that with all the new players, scheme and coaching it would take the first 4-5 games to really get going. These injuries may hinder that.
I love your optimism Director. I think the biggest key to winning this game is to play cleanly cause the refs will jump at anything for the Chiefs.

The DJ suspension was in my opinion unnecessary and almost makes me think that the NFL knew we are playing against KC and because Kelce hasn’t been playing the best they wanted to make sure Derwin would be out of his way. That’s what I have been hearing a lot and makes sense but I think it’s unfair if true.

It would be a Brandon Staley type move to put Herbert in behind a non existent O-Line. I'm even concerned about Taylor Heineke in this situation to be honest. We can't risk the entire season for this one game and I'm even suggesting if we could get a win it still isn't worth sacrificing 4 or 5 games or more if Herbert get's hurt yet again. I say we put in Stick and hire a circus clown to replace JK Dobbins so he doesn't get killed either. Just sacrifice the clown please.

Look, I hate to say it, but without our O line, just bench the already injured Herbert. Bench all these guys, take the L and go into the bye week 2-2. What happens if we put Herbert out there and he gets murdered...and we still lose the game. Be smart, rest everyone, let our backups get some good experience. This is literally why we pay backups.

Here’s my take on the injury stuff. Injuries are inevitable, they will happen. We can’t rely on our whole playmakers to be constantly healthy every single year, it just doesn’t happen. If we want to compete as an organization, then you’ll have to be able to compete even without 1 or 2 key players (unless it’s qb, duh). Just look at KC winning last year’s SB without a huge WR1, 49ers also having a capable run game without CMC. We have to find ways to win without relying on single player performances to win regularly and that’s why I want us to try to win every single game (of course without recklessly risking injuries). Specifically, our O-Line should not be folding that hard just by dropping one or two starters if we want to compete. Those circumstances are what we need to fix instead of complaining every single year about injuries.
And this is why the chargers are not ready to make a run this year. The roster has no depth. They did a great job turning it over but we realistically need another good offseason
We should have been 3-0 but defense made mistakes and mistakes to keep the Steelers alive. Offense couldn’t adjust in the second half. Sloppy sloppy game. I hope the coaches & players learn from it and we come out strong.
We lost both are tackles against the best defense in football right now. The game was hard fought ,the Steelers benefitted from questionable penalties in crucial moments and eventually we just couldn't block them. If we just stay healthy up front,we win that game with a one legged QB

Chargers first 2 2025 draft picks should be a OL(probably center) and DL (probably top Nose or DE player).
I don't think our team has a chance this week...just being realistic. No slap against our team, but you have to have the horses. For us, too many are not in the stalls. So, I think we have to minimize injuries and concentrate on the rest of the season.
If anyone gets hurt, I would rather it be Stick, so that we still have Taylor down the road. So play Stick and don't sacrifice Taylor.

Any updates on Nick Niemann? It would be great to have him back for this game. I honestly don't trust our secondary O'line. It'll have to be our "D" and Special Teams to help us win this game against the Chi-Refs.
1 or 2 touchdowns, a handful of field goals from great defense in special teams and this game is very winnable. As long as we can pound the rock efficiently, dont miss tackles, this really might be a W.

It’ll come down to coaching. Our defensive scheme is pretty killer, now it’s just a matter of finding out if it’s “next man up” or if we lose a few key guys and we’re screwed.

Bosa should have been traded, and perhaps we need to start looking for herbert replacement. herbert keeps getting injured as well. Its time to rebuild to be honest.
