  • This is the part two of Speaking Hindi for 24 hours in Pakistan. Part 1 video link is given below. In this video I speak pure Hindi for 24 hours in Islamabad. In the previous video's comments section you guys asked me to go slow on Sanskrit term because even the Indian viewers couldn't understand them so in this video I don't change tadbhavas with tatsamas. I just changed persian words in Hindi with Sanskrit words.
I posed as a RAW agent in this video and I introduced myself as such to Pakistanis. See Pakistanis' reaction to this.
I also talked about bollywood being called urduwood these days and boycott bollywood movement. I asked Pakistanis if they could understand Bollywood songs if all the Urdu words were replaced with Hindi words in the songs.

Urdu was born in the northern central region of India ie Delhi and UP, the people of present day Pakistan spoke Punjabi predominantly along with other languages such as Sindhi, Pashtuni etc. So owning Urdu doesnt make a lot of sense, Urdu is an Indian language as well.

Bollywood is Hindi+Urdu mixed, but you are right. Bollywood has become majority Urduwood. I have seen very few directors using hindi from writers like Harivanshray Bacchan's rich hindi literature in Bollywood . Most of the Bollywood scriptwriter like Javed Akhtar and Gulzar are urdu poets. Unfortunately Indian people don't recognize the richness of Shudhha Hindi . Recently It has been used in the Agnipath movie, which was phenomenal. Otherwise, most people go for urdu but Bollywood people should balance the use of Hindi too. Otherwise, only urdu is monotonous. Hindi and urdu both compliment each other, but right now, in Bollywood, only Urdu is heavily dominated, which makes it mundane. Fortunately, India has regional cinema too, which makes all other indian languages at least keep alive in their local movie industry like Begali, Odia, Assamese, telugu, tamil,Malayalam, kannada, tulu,Gujarati, Marathi,Bhojpuri, Gharvali and countless others.

Most Bollywood films are made neither in Hindi nor in Urdu. These are in Hindusthani, which is a spoken language understood by a vast majority of the masses in Indian sub-continent and other adjoining countries like Afghanistan. The characters who speak pure Hindi (shudh Hindi) in Bollywood movies are invariably comedians. Making pure Hindi movies may prove to disastrous in box office although other regional India languages with variant Hindi dialects like Bhojpuri, Haryanvi etc are thriving.

Actually, the language that is spoken in Pakistan is nothing but Hindi . The language spoken by common people 99 % seems intelligeble to an Indian and in every ten words spoken atleast eight come from Sanskrit via Prakrit. Any two dialects of Bengali differ more than this . But , people from Pakistan do not know that they are using the Sanskrit words and a grammar that follows Sanskrit. As APKO HINDI ATI HAI is a pure Hindi sentence and all the words here come from Sanskrit. Bollywood doesn't use Urdu, it is pure Hindi. I am a Bengali speaking, but can understand Pakistani Hindi very well. Only I stumble on words that occur very rarely.

The religion is our own, Arabs can call it whatever they want. Tamil and sanskrit from which most of the language have originated are world's oldest language and that's out own. Britisher's Arabs amd world is importing knowledge from India with yoga and ayurveda. Chinese and entire south east Asia follows Buddhism by importing from India. Now they are importing Indian CEO's to rum their companies. Sanatan means religion which dosent have origin neither have an end. It was always there and will always be there. West invented nuclear bomb by ready Bhagwad Gita. Nalanda and taxila university provided knowledge to entire world. India is reclaiming itself and in next 20-30 years will again be the greatest civilization as it was from 1000's of years.

First of all, you are doing a great job and you have lot of knowledge on culture and languages. Actually being an Indian what i have seen is the Hindi that is spoken commonly in North India especially in Delhi, UP side is actually Hindustani (before partirion congress tried to name it as such). This is not pure Hindi but a mix of Hindi and urdu. Pure Hindi is not spoken anymore and probably some parts of MP, Bihar, East UP they use more Hindi words than Urdu in Hindi because of their local language influnce like Awadhi, Bhojpuri etc which formed the basis for Hindi language (as well as Urdu). Also Urdu and Hindi are mutually intelligible languages. Some of the Urdu words are easier to spek compared to pure Hindi words hence i think they are used more. Man we have a complex history

    LOLLLLLL ........
URDU is an entirely INDIAN LANGUAGE..originated and started in Lucknow , Uttar Pradesh . Pakistanis didn't even knew what Urdu sounded like until 1947. It was the Muhajirs from U.P. and Bihar who started propagating Urdu as a language in Pakistan. Punjabis still speak urdu with a heavy punjabi accent which makes it sound funny tbh.
Bollywood uses HINDUSTANI LANGUAGE which is neither pure hindi nor pure urdu but a mixture of both . Urdu itself is originated from "PRAKRIT"which can be easily seen in it's grammer like "MAI", "TUM" , "KAUN" , "KAISE", "ISKO"KISKO"" ,etc. You can change and add some new words in a language but you can't change the grammar of the language which is excatlym the case with Urdu before it was made the "LASHKARI ZUBAAN".
Urdu is an entirely indian language and no one feels a bit of shame speaking it , instead it's the Pakistanis who should be ashamed of speaking a foreign language just on the name of religion.
    Peace to all
