I will miss LT so much. He was more consistent than Hillsy last year. It’s a shame they won’t put him up front.
Except the team played better behind hill than LT, just kinda how it is
I love his game. You knew what you were getting from him. Hill has a higher ceiling but after injury just let in bad goals almost every game, so hopefully he shakes that off.
As your NJD/VGK fan - Fitz had to move off Akira as there's both a logjam at goalie plus the fact that he stiffed Akira on a new contract after last year's Rangers performance. Holtz wasn't good enough to hang in our top six (lacks speed and still can't play defense much) and was on our fourth line. I'm rooting for Holtzy to have a breakout year on the Knights, he can easily pot 30 if he's on a line with NHL players who know how to play to his strengths (complimentary sniper) imo. And "I know Vegas won this trade because Devils fans are pissed" is probably the truest statement EVER hahahah (although, again, I don't think either of Schmid or Holtz was in the Devils' long-term plans, so Fitz was cutting his losses).
The Cotter one hurts for me on a personal level. I’ve been following him since 2017 when he played my local team here in Lincoln Nebraska. Cotter was the reason was the sole reason I’m a VGK fan. I’m gonna miss him on the Knights
Now about the Connelly draft pick….im seething since he played for a rival team to my local team….so a hard pile to swallow.
I was debating between Thompson and Cotter for my Winter Classic jersey. Im hoping Cotter gets a more prominent, established role with New Jersey than he had with us, slotting in when needed.
I think a way to be able to get Marchessault back on the team is to backload the contract we give him so we can get him now for cheap but still be able to get him the money he deserves.
We’ll have to see! The longer it takes, the less likely I think it’ll happen, unfortunately :(
I felt like this would happen when Thompson got pulled in the playoffs. Replacing him with Hill shocked me and felt so disrespectful (if only he was an Allen Walsh client we could get a new sword jpeg). He was great and the Delly and Dadanov goals weren't on him. And Johnston gets everyone with the drive-by high flip at least once.
...the idea of Stamkos on the Knights starts a war movie nightmare montage in my head. Please no. God no.

Signs have shown since December, he mentioned in an interview after a phenomenal game against the Kings that he didn’t know how long he’d be a Golden Knight. But yeah, agreed on those games he being the only reason we were even in it.

Hey man, just watched an earlier vid of yours, and saw your Atlanta Thrashers gear, and your Bulldogs merch. What’s your tie to the state? i’m a Georgia boy wishing and praying for the Thrashers to come back. I’m glad to see them shown off in the hockey community more. it’s a welcomed surprise.
I currently live here! My wife is getting a PhD at UGA. I’d also love for Atlanta to get a team, but odds are it’ll be after I end up leaving lol. I left Vegas for school in Utah before Vegas’ inaugural season. Left Utah to come to Georgia, Utah gets a team within the year. The moment we leave Georgia is when Atlanta gets a team, I just know it.
@@tyler_okamoto Oh wow! I wish your wife the best at UGA, as i’ve visited there many times and enjoy Athens a lot. I currently am in AU (augusta university) and have many times considered a transfer there.
But that is a crazy bit of coincidence. Though i hope a team comes here before you do leave.
