(Notice how most comments talking crap don't have any objectivity OR productivity since they state an opinion and don't follow up) I swear, people just click, pause, and comment without even watching the video to see what I'm saying. Not really helping your case, Toronto fans.
This is why no one likes vegas or their fans. This guy clearly cannot put his bias aside and evaluate the hit. If reaves was penalized and suspended whitecloud should have been to. Hella inconsistency from the league.
@@gurvirbajwa6767 how? Rather than just stating the opinion, breakdown how they are the same?
Embarassing video
@@Spilia4 objective reason being?
You talk about leafs fans but all you are doing is winning crying complaining do you need some cheese
@@jesseburke3990 as long as it’s Gouda 👍
Why are you crying there's no crying in hockey
I agree the hit on Theo should have been a penalty according to the rulebook. But they also need to implement a penalty for players who purposely turn their back to incoming hits to try and "draw" embellish a penalty. I am so incredibly tired of players doing this, then also crying about getting concussions. Not everyone wants hitting to be banned. Stop trying to force the majority to not play the body by putting yourself in a vulnerable position. Im sick of it. Also. The hit on knies was not as bad as the reaves hit, but again was in violation of the rulebook and should have resulted in a suspension (2-3 games, not 5) He was in the process of leaving his feet, principal contact was head, targetted a player in a vulnerable position that had no ability to see what was coming, followed through with an elbow. That's all against the rulebook. Jets fan.
@@Gergentine Theo didn’t see a hit and turn. Did you watch my explanation (with screenshots) of what happened? I’m assuming no because you didn’t address what I said by saying you disagree with my take. There is no way Theodore turned from Gerbenkin so that he could draw a boarding penalty, nobody wants that. Theo saw Gerbenkin leaning down with his stick to block a passing lane, which is a good move from Gerbenkin, and then turned to gather the puck and also get a different angle to pass it back towards the offensive zone. AFTER Theo turns is when Gerbenkin stands back up and converts what he was doing into a hit. It’s an extremely fast paced play, and I admitted that Theo put himself in a vulnerable situation to get hurt if her were to get boarded by turning away from a player skating towards him, which is what happened, even if he didn’t think thought Gerbenkin was only blocking a lane with his stick. The principle point of contact was debatable if it was head. The NHL ruled that it was NOT. I’m not saying that is correct, because I can actively see both, but in the scenario that it wasn’t, it isn’t a penalty at all, let alone a suspension. He didn’t target Knies as a vulnerable player, he laid a big hit on the puck carrier who had his head down, which is the only reason Knies wouldn’t have seen it coming since it was in the open ice. My point stands that If Theo needs to not turn his back, Knies needs to keep his head up, you can’t argue for one without the other. You’re more than welcome to disagree with me, I’m not trying to say you’re objectively wrong about anything other than “Theo turned on purpose to draw a penalty”. There’s a whole lot of speculation regarding what Whitecloud was doing during the hit that emphasize both sides from respectable sources, so for me it’s firmly in a gray area with every detail that makes it borderline for the penalties. Jets are having a fantastic season, btw. I think it’s fair to say that this is completely unexpected that they’d be this good from just about everyone, including Jets fans.
"Play the victim" Friend the refs literally pushed a leafs player off the ice in the past Look at suspension lengths in the playoffs, the leafs are treated differently due to their media coverage. The wound on the guys head is from the visor, doesnt mean it isnt boarding, bad hit. Knies principle point of contact is arguable, but it should have been a penalty
The Bunting incident, 100% that ref should either have been fired or at least suspended, and I agree with the the wound being from the visor, but that is from him going into the boards, which is because of Gerbenkin. If the principle point of contact is arguable, what should the penalty have been in the scenario that it wasn’t? Hitting him too hard? It wasn’t charging imo because the rulebook states that’s based on distance traveled (which often gets referred to as strides taken, right?). I’m in no means a rule expert, but I don’t think there is anything that can be called except illegal check to the head, which, with this hit specifically is arguable. Also, “playing the victim” is only in reference to rigging it against your team specifically. I understand media coverage, because like I said in the video, Toronto is the biggest fan base in the league. It’s unfair y’all don’t really have home-coverage for games, but other than that, I don’t really see the league specifically targeting one team or another for good or bad, otherwise Arizona would’ve succeeded, right? Players getting away with stuff or getting away with nothing (Tkachuk vs let’s say Kadri) is a reffing problem, which we all can agree sucks and is potent, but that’s against players, not teams, right? Otherwise Naz wouldn’t have gotten suspended when he was with the Avs. Idk man, I’d just have a really hard time watching/taking seriously/supporting (by continuing to watch) a league that’s rigged against my team, or any team frankly, because it’s not sport then.
Yeah white clouds hit should’ve been 5 minutes and so did grebetkins hit and they both needed to be calls made for the game

I'm happy with the bounceback win, but the Knights need to win like this against the top teams in the league. Knights also need to get healthy again. On to Montreal on Saturday. Go Knights Go!
@@BlueWhiteFlame 100%, need to see this against a team that isn’t struggling. GKG!
Reavo's hit has NOTHING to do with Zach's hit. No way to compare those two hits! Reaves lost it for a moment and it's totally ok that he's out for 5 games.
Would love a productive conversation with anyone who disagrees with me.
Hard to disagree with your critique of the refs.
Hopefully they have a bounce back game against Toronto tomorrow. Go Knights Go!

Hertl power was on full display tonight! (The Whitecloud visor grab confused the heck out of me.) Hill was in fine form. Wild Bill rides in to finish the job. I, too am flummoxed by this power play. What is this sorcery? (I don't care, I like it.) Dads continue their influence. I'm convinced Cam Theodore has wizard energy, followed up by Bob Eichel. I am NOT a Las Vegas Injured Reserves fan. But you're entertaining, and knowledgeable, and I feel your pain when my own team goes up and down like an EKG monitor. I mean, not this season, right now. We're doing great! #Stars
I hate the dodgers and it was really disrespectful for the Kings to play the game on the Jumbotron while the game was HAPPENING. I lost all respect for the Kings organization
I hate the Dodgers, too.
I’m a Knights fan in LA I’m beyond happy the dodgers won, after I saw that the baseball game tied I knew the Kings were gonna go nuts. Especially after their 6-1 loss. Kings are my second favorite team, and my wife’s favorite so she makes sure to rub it in lol.

Our power play being good is so weird to me.
First time in franchise history I’m somewhat confident in our powerplay. It’s a new feeling for sure.
I was told to congratulate both the Kings and the Injured Reserves on your wins over the Sharks. So, congratulations!
Thanks! I’m pretty sure we go by LONG-TERM injured reserves, but I knew what you meant.
Hate that we’re so irrelevant that VGK fans don’t even feel a rivalry anymore… that might be the most depressing thing I’ve heard through this rebuild, and that’s including watching all of last season. It makes sense, but it just feels like getting cold bucketed to the genitals.
If we hadn’t won a cup, I’m sure it would be more alive than it currently is.
That was a great way to show and recap a high-scoring game (score cards all at once). Might want to use that format again for these high-scoring games. Go Knights Go!
I viewed, on the Ottawa Senators, Twitter page, a tweet about what I had seen as an unusually early start time of an English-language TV broadcast scheduled to take place on TSN channel 5 aka TSN5. The team had tweeted out what had been a 6 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (3 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time) broadcast start time. Nevada Day having been on the last Friday PDT of October, something I’d only found out about this Saturday a.m. PDT, had been why the game had been so early, although I had not at the time understood how that game would be broadcast in the middle of the afternoon PDT when it had been a weekday. In any case I congratulate the Golden Knights for that incredible comeback against a rather young, defensively-unstable Sens’ team with a goalie who had recently come off an injury stint. Yes, the comeback started with just over three minutes to go in regulation, but for those Golden Knights, that win was huge. So far this regular season the golden knights have as many points as the Flames but have played one more game. Yet in a still-very tight Pacific Division, every point counts. I grew up cheering for the Leafs, but have turned more to cheering for them in the postseason and watching fewer games that they play during regular season play in favour of games, played by other Canadian NHL teams when they are not playing the Leafs. I continue to hope that a non-Habs Canadian NHL team will, for the first time in my adult life, win a Stanley Cup as much as I have a healthy respect for opposing teams. Any team can beat any other team in a given game, something, John Herdman, late in November 2022 at the FIFA adult Men’s World Cup over in Qatar, didn’t get. Yes back then he had been the head coach of Canada’s adult men’s soccer team, and no doubt that team had been under pressure to win its first-ever game in a given World Cup tournament. That said, to suggest, as Herdman had, in a media scrum following a 1-0 loss of Canada’s adult men’s team to its Belgian counterpart, that the relevant Canadian team should “go and F [its] Croatia[n]” counterpart in what would be the second group-stage game of the last two teams, was so over the top that just hours later, he would be confronted by a relatively large group of Croatian media outlets, and would end up, apologizing for such comments. Whether or not Herman did, his comments, sure, didn’t help the relevant Canadian team beat its Croatian counterparts, with Andrej Kramarić, a soccer forward for the Croatian adult men’s team and a club in Germany’s equivalent to England’s Premier League, claimed a convincing win by the relevant Croatian team over its Canadian counterpart had reminded the world of who had “f’d whom.“ so far this regular season, among Canadian NHL teams, the Canucks, Flames and Jets have looked relatively good while the Oilers, Leafs, Sens and Habs haven’t. Yes the Sens have a 4-3-0-0 win-regulation loss-OT loss-shootout loss record, with two games they played during which they have allowed under 3 goals (2-0-0-0 record) vs 5 during which they have allowed at least 3 (2-3-0-0) including 4 during which they have allowed at least 4. The Golden Knights have a far more impressive record although even they have had problems defending against opposition scoring attempts, with just 2 games this regular season during which they have allowed under 3 goals (2-0-0-0) vs 6 and 5 respective ones during which they have allowed at least 3 (3-2-1-0) and 4 (2-2-1-0) goals. The Golden Knights will eventually have to play a bunch of games during which they allow fewer than three goals because that will IMO help them come playoff time. last regular season, the golden knights, over their first 10 games, lost only once, and that had been in OT, that’s having earned 19 points. The rest of the way they would earn 79, but considering how various teams in the Western Conference had ended their regular seasons, those Golden Knights finished six points up on the Blues for the final playoff spot. The Leafs had started off their 1993-94 regular season with 10 straight wins and over 84 games would end up with 98 points via a 43-29-12 win-loss-tie record. Back in the earlier season, losses, whether in regulation or OT, had not come with points although the Leafs, had their only OT loss counted as a single point, would have ended up with 99, which still wouldn’t have been enough to overtake the Wings for top spot in the Central Division of the Western Conference. Last season the Golden Knights barely qualified for postseason action, but certainly kept every game that they had lost close, with the only game they lost by at least two goals (a 4-2 loss of game 4 at T-Mobile Arena) having been due to a late-game empty-net goal. The second game of last spring's Golden Knights-Stars playoff series was decided by two goals because of a late-game empty-net one from Jack Eichel although game six, also a win for the Golden Knights, featured and empty-that goal. Last season the Golden Knights came so close to finishing third in the Pacific Division. Yes because they lost their 2024 opening-round playoff series they came nowhere close to becoming repeat Stanley Cup champions, but were a hard team last season to beat and still are.
I liked the Nics gag.
Fuck the knights to hell and back I almost felt happiness. You fans have already been in the playoffs and even the Stanley cup in the last 7 years. It was almost 10 years now. God bless, but they should have won.
Finally they hit the gas in the third period! Go Knights Go!!!
