Awesome video! The city looks very polished when it snows. Part of me wishes that it would snow all year round 😂 Bronzeville has the most attractive brownstones and the lampposts makes it even cooler. I love your work. This reminds me of New York and how their brownstone buildings are when it snows. If I weren’t from Chicago, I would really believe that this was New York 🫶🏻 Keep it up girl! These make my day (I work from home) 😃❤
Aww 🥰 I miss working from home sometimes! Lol! New York and Chicago are so similar - I watch their walking videos all the time. They are absolutely beautiful. I love their brownstone buildings and how the city is built. I think my favorite neighborhood is Brooklyn Heights now. It looks so gorgeous. I love Bronzeville - Oakland area - for some reason it always looks so wonderful at night and when it snows. I love my walks through the neighborhood - it is so very peaceful. Thank you so much for your comment and feedback 🧡🧡
Hi Chicago, UK here, sorry ive missed some of the videos, i will catch up i promise. Happy New year, i hope its a good one for you. The neighbourhood looks lovely in the snow. We didn't get a white Christmas but the weekend just gone we had some snow. Now we're back to floods. Hope your holiday season was a good one. Take care.
Hey! There you are! I was wondering if you were doing well ☺️ missed talking to you the past few weeks! How have you been? How was your New Year? I hope it’s a great year for you as well 🧡 The snow was so nice and sporadic. I didn’t know it was supposed to stick - but once I saw looked out the window - I thought it would be a great time to walk the neighborhood a little bit. We didn’t have a white Christmas either - it was 50-52 degrees on Christmas. It was really nice! Oh no! I wasn’t expecting for you to say floods at all but you did say it rains a lot there as well. We are back to 19 degree weather right now. Hopefully it warms up soon but I’m happy to hear from you 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful evening!
@peacefulexplorations I'm so sorry my health took a downturn and I was on heavy pain relief but I'm on the up now. I missed talking to you too. It's a shame we didn't get a white Christmas. It going to be -5 tonight so I think I'll keep the heating on. It's 9.30pm here. Have a great evening too. Take care.
Chicago and New York are definitely similar in a lot of ways. I feel like we’re just a smaller city. But you’re going to love it! Chicago is absolutely beautiful and the neighborhoods and culture is amazing. You’re going to enjoy it. Thanks so much for your comment and your support. It is appreciated it! ☺️🙂
I feel like Chicago’s crime is always talked about but I personally don’t feel like it is as dangerous as the media portrays it to be. Honestly. It is dangerous everywhere - you have to be aware of your surroundings with anything you do but I personally don’t worry about crime. I love the city - I love the Southside and East Side specifically. I grew up on the East side of chicago and I still live in the southeast part of the city. Crime is always talked about but both cities are historical in their own right. The skylines - architecture - and diverse culture as well as the public transportation systems. We have a beautiful lakefront - many job hubs - and sports scene. Well New York more than Chicago in my opinion lol. But both are awesome to me. It’s crime in every state - every city. Some more than others - but still crime. Explore the city and have fun. I hope you enjoy it here and have a safe move.

My favorite community. My grandparents lived in Bronzeville and the history is so rich there. #NewSub #Chicagoanfromday1
