That's why Arteta plays a right footed player like Tomiyasu/Ansley Miles against good left footed players like Salah. Arteta has been doing this since he started coaching Arsenal.
In my opinion, Arsenal has been practically immaculous in the Premier League this season. It was unfortunate that they registered the two very unfortunate draws due to the most extenuating circumstances. The first was the Declan Rice red card that saw their narrow lead bridged by Brighton at the Emirates. Prior to that controversial red card, the Gunners dominated the game on every blade of the pitch. The red card transformed the entire game from a total Arsenal domination to a more even game. Hence, Brighton was able to score the equalizer to take a point from the Emirates. History repeated per se at the Ethiad a fortnight later. This time round, it was Leandro Trossard who got himself a second booking. This once again resulted in another two points dropped against their title rivals. We have come a long way from top 8 contenders to challenging for the title. It now takes 11 vs 10 for an opponent to even get a point from the Arsenal games.
And don't forget Arsenal have been playing without their Captain Ødegaard for the last four games and have managed three wins and a draw! There is something special about this Arsenal team that Arteta has put together that could win them silverware this season.
Gab is wrong on the opening take , Arsenal leave at least 1 but usually two at the far stick on set pieces. Who those 2 are specifically is part of the larger "gotcha with ya pants down" strategies
in my opinion, Goalie got paid for makes a saves so why maybe why Donaruma expecting someone to block or touch the ball on the Arsenal 2nd goals? hahaha
