- France recently banned religious symbols in sports. Many agree that the target is Muslim sportswomen who compete with headscarves. The headscarf has already been banned in public schools since 2004, while the niqab and burqa are outlawed across the country.
A recent report also says that French media give a lot more airtime to the far-right. And with the presidential elections just around the corner, many candidates are using language that worries Muslims.

When you are a foreigner in a country you do have to integrate yourself in the society, but the counrty you are in does not have the right to force you to abandon your religion, beliefs or traditions as long as they are harmless. I’ve always seen France as the leader of secularism and Uk as right wing. I was wrong. Uk is far ahead compare to France maybe it’s because Uk ruled the world and their education is the best in the world which is why they know what is the value of multiculturalism and more accepting.
That is because UK never conquered Muslim majority countries under the pretext on how they hate Muslims, they gave explicit reasons that they had their national interests in those regions and asked the locals to not intermix with their targets. France, however, never apologized for its crimes against Algeria, and they even decided that Muslims shouldn't be tolerated just because they pray to God in a Mosque instead of a Church, which is contradicting itself as a modern, secular, democratic state. Just look at terrorist attack count in the UK and compare it with France. The British are far more tolerant towards Muslims than the entire EU, and they don't pop out on media and glorify their tolerance. They treat them like any other people.
