Hello Steve you got the old cummings running well done mate can't wait to see what truck you are going to put it in to awesome work keep the videos coming blessings everyone from far north Queensland tablelands thanks for sharing stay safe cheers love it
Hi mate thanks for watching. Yes I’m not sure what I will do with this one yet. I’ve never really had plans for it but just wanted it in the collection. It will be used one day
These engine stand starts are a lot of work but ya know they're a lot cooler then in the vehicle. I see this must been before you got the wide screen cam. Cheers 🍺🤛😎👍
Good video, looks like you had some air in the fuel-pump. Some diesels are a bit awkward to prime, although you had a good powerful battery for cranking.
That is an old NH model Cummins. I have one in my 1957 Kenworth truck. That engine has a 5.125” bore and a 6” stroke for a displacement of 743 cubic inches or 12.2 liters.

Sounds like a good engine to put in a boat or to use as a generator engine.

Is that a JT6?

What did this motor come out of? Year make model it came out of? What are your plans with it? How many cubic inches is this motor?

@@frazzledudeDid Kenworth offer this motor in 1957 in their trucks?
Hi mate it’s very possible. It was out of an international crane carrier truck. It’s a c160 I think.
You better get some water running threw her
Yes I know. I wouldn’t run it any longer. She will need a freshen up before being used in a vehicle
