I've only walked out on one date in my life, but wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
I made the mistake of taking a woman out for dinner on a 1st date. (Never again)
The dinner was a disaster.
She kept wanting to talk about my ex and my daughter in a negative fashion.
I tried repeatedly to steer the conversation away from this but she latched onto this like a pit bull.
She sealed her fate when she eventually completely ignored me to incessantly play with her phone.
When the check came, I quietly excused myself, paid the check as fast as I could and literally ran to my car!
I was home for over an HOUR when I start receiving angry texts from her.
"Where the hell are you???"
In retrospect, I think this drug and alcohol counselor (who was already drinking at the bar when I arrived) probably continued to order wine like there was no tomorrow after I left.
What she was really upset about was the tab she got for the wine she ordered after I paid and left!
If this happens again, I will only pay MY share of the bill.
If the restaurant wants to give me static over this, let them call the police, I don't care.
I would calmly explain to the cops that this woman was being a miserable date, ignoring me and I was refusing to pay her way. There was no formal contract between us stating I would pay.
Now, if the cops threatened me with "pay or go to jail", I would pay.
However, if I was very calm and polite to them I think they might sympathize with my situation.

If something seems off with them, I'll ask on the very first date what medications they are currently on. If they get insulted, RED FLAG. Run. I agree with all of these red flags. However, I'd like to hear guys referring to women as jealous, rude, ungrateful, etc rather than crazy. Classifying women as crazy for bad behavior, where we don't generally hear this term used for men, can be seen as a way of subordinating women. I suspect the same could be said for calling men assholes, but men aren't having quite the problems women are having being seen and treated as equals.
