    My husband and I watched this video and you helped us made a decision to visit Samoa. We spend 2 weeks and we visited Upolu, Savaii and Tutuila. We went to all the places you have on your video and we had a fabulous and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We also met Chris and ate at his traditional restaurant. thank you so much and I encourage you to continue doing what you are doing educating people like us what these beautiful islands are hiding.. Beautiful video of Samoa! The buses by the way, do have windows. They actually are in between the two thin boards by every seat on the bus, and you have to pull them up if you need to during a rainy day. Usually, people love to sight seeing without the windows up, only in case of rain. I visited Samoa and it's a paradise alright!

      The length of time to cook food in a Samoan umu depends on how hot the lava rocks are. 40 minutes is the average length of time to cook cook food.

    • @newzealandforholidays
      @newzealandforholidays Год назад

      40 minutes for some umu, depending on how hot the rocks are and what sort of food you cook etc. Yep we used to cook food in the umu and I think I am the expert in that I know exactly the right time when a umu should be uncovered and the food ready.
