I am a full blooded Samoan happy to my own culture and episode in different study about the natives people of Samoa and where they actually came from in early times. But because the people were very strong to maintain and keep there cultures even the land in there heart and mind, that is why Samoan were very different from many other countries of the south pacific nations. We believed the land and cultures of Samoan, were the true gifts of God to them. The gifts to educate and understand fully about the love of God above which enriched and make benefit to it. If you look at the culture as concerned for example, Samoa already had the power to rule and protected its own people from there everyday living, that power helped people to police the way of life between each others in order to make a good and love community who worked together to look after the sea land and creatures and people. So the whole research episode of the study the Samoan culture as Micah done the half of it, was one of the good page to see and study how Manu'a Island lives related to other islands belief about there history.

Agree completely with your perceptive knowledge of Samoan Feng Shui architectural design and social interactivity. I am pleased with your understanding of the grand design of the Tufuga Fau Fale's evolved design for Faleo'o design and its incredible durability to withstand centuries of cyclones and inclement weather and the paradox with the insular compartmentalised and anti-social modern architectural designs of the Palagi Fale and hence the Palagi cultural mindset. Very thoughtful intellectualism. I am grateful for your contribution to Samoan ethnological education not only for the non-Samoans but for the more astute Samoans as well. Malo, ma fa'afetai lava Lau Susuga Micah Van Der Ryn.

When he starts talking about his dissertation research, I felt I needed to know more. Where can I get a copy?
It was very insightful, and I agree with a lot about what he was saying about the architecture and it's relation to the culture.
