when i was a kid i had a mate he is Samoan we'd play basket ball in his mums driveway after the game shed always say come in side Adam and eat something your too skinny boy she passed away few years ago but ill never forget the honour i felt being invited in to such a rock solid and loving family ..
Mother’s and grandmothers are really the rock of the family. The foundation to everything the children becomes... It takes a toll on the younger ones. And sometimes it’s sad cus they get lost without them and tend to break down... But always trust in god. You’ll always get thru
💔 … never take your parents for granted … cherish what you have with your siblings … spend quality time with your children … tomorrow is promised to NO ONE … make today an everlasting memory ❤❤❤
I’m Maori and Samoan but born and raise in NZ until I met my Aunty who came from Samoa and introduce herself to me and she always makes yummy Samoan food like coconut cream with kumara. Until she past away from a heart attack. I always remember her
This is my biggest fear, to lose my mother will be the end of me I feel, I've already had a taste of what lossing my brother felt like, it's like a never ending heart breaking sensation you feel in your soul its hard to explain but can't never forget the pain.
When the sister places dinner on the table you see her brothers heart warm up through his smile because its what their mum would cook or made before her passing... and yes okay I’m balling my eyes out!! Who else? 😭🥰
The saddest we don't know the time that mum or mothers will be taken from us. What I have seen in this short script mcripr was teaching her children how to give thanks to God for what He has given for the day. She showed her children the important of eating together and doing things together in a family. I treasured this script it short but the message is very important. To reach out to ur culture there are people in there they have good qualities in life to give a hint of how u can cope with this kind of problem. 😂😂Love it💕💕💕💕💕💕
A beautiful film with meaning. We all lose that special person in our lives for which we must adjust to, not saying its any easier but for every moment without that person you realise how truly valuable they are, remembering the moment in life you shared. Love and Cherish your loved ones.
Itione Gafa I’m scared of losing my parents big bro I’m from Africa I can’t live without them they all I have I got nothin else in life. Thanks for your bewutiful message.
This film really gets me to cause my godfather who is like a second father to me passed away, I was an emotional wreck. He was always telling me to focus in school, look after my bros and that's what I had to try and do, look after my 3 brothers and put them before me. This took a toll on me mentally, spiritually and physically but I will do right by him. Aiga First RIP Uncle Peter Fafetai Uncle
We learn from the love our parents that its better to cook food than spending it on take a ways I can so relate to this, once you have learned all the things that value in your family it's your turn to keep it going this is what I will miss once my parents/nana/papa pass on this is why aiga is so important to Pacific families this is the start of where you learn everything love this film so beautiful xo
I’ve never really thought about my parents dying and how I’d feel. My goal in life is to repay them for what they gave me because they bought me here and I have to love them now or never.
So Blessed to be a Samoan so blessed and thankful for my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents to have shown us (siblings) our roots, where we come from and the meaning of Aiga I’m in tears watching this I miss home so badly so far away from the west coast to the east coast planning a huge surprise my parents finally get to meet their grandchildren it’s been 7yrs since I’ve seen them... Be humble and stay blessed🤙🏾 SSgt. Taufi USMC
This movie was very emotional I do feel for the sister and the brother im.happy they have each other the sister stepped up to take care of her brother did the best she could Ryan wanted to have a feed the way his mum made it how sweet
Condolences to you brother my mum is still in my life and thinking about the thought of losing her hurts me enough, I don't wanna think about it, I know one day she will be here and I like to think she'll be here forever immortal that's just me tryna ignore the true reality of life much ofas to you be the best and do your best in dedication to your ma your mums there just soring with the rest of the angels in the sky 🛫 Lingi Lowci
This video is very important to me because this is also my culture and i got really emotional when the mom died and the boy started treating his sister badly, so everyone please cherish the moments you have because happiness is only an illusion to reality so be happy for what u have
This reminded me so much of my nana... made me cry my heart out watching this! Our elders are the glue to most families and my nana was definitely mine. Ughhh such a beautiful video
Beautiful 😍😭 I misss my mother too We only have one... those who still have their mothers make sure to HUG AND KISS EVERYDAY!!! And most of all CHERISH THEM UNCONDITIONALLY!!!
Reminds me of how I grew up. After dad passed when I was 11, my sister and mom cared extra to help me become the man I am today. In poly families the bond we have is strong. Beautiful story. Thanks.
This short film brought tears to my eyes for sure. Although I'm half Samoan, I was raised in east Texas not the islands. Because I was adopted by a white family who raised me in a good home, I don't know too much about what it truly means to have Samoan blood coursing through my veins. Even so, I cried maybe more for myself than these kids losing their mom. Who knows?
Many thanks to the producer of such short beautiful & meaningful clip. I reckon short clips like ths are far more effective in the most positive way than some of the Samoan movies I've seen so far. The message was clear & simple. Job well done. 👌🇼🇸🔥
Idk why I cried so much 😂😢 It's just sad to think about when our parents go on and like how we are getting older and how our parents are getting older too. Never Take Family For Granted 💗

This was very nice. the acting but more so the quality of the film itself. nice! the story was short but it had a lot of emotion and also very believable. makes me proud to be Samoan .
Wowww this just made me realise that my life is nothing without my rents mostly cause they do everything for me and cause I can't cook real food for shit and here I am being ungreatful asff😭😭😭😭love dis❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Damn this hits hard. I lost my mum at 9. It’s hard adjusting to reality when the main person that gave you everything leaves this earth. There’s no pain greater than losing a parent.
In Chuukese we have a word called “ainang”. It means like a clan/family that you belong to. I believe “aiga” means the same thing as “ainang”. Also we have a word called “manaman” which means like a supernatural power. I believe it has the same meaning as “mana”. Also when we are passing through people, we bow/crouch down slightly while saying “tirow” (like saying “excuse me”; being respectful). I believe this is the same meaning as “tulou”. Just some things that I’ve noticed.
Wow just wow I swear everything to all the production people behind the scenes and the acting spectacular 👏👏👏 out did your guys self I'm crying as I'm typing this is beautiful 🖤 well done FAMILI is everything AIGA how do you say family in your native tongue comment below #StraightBEAUTIFUL

Wow so beautiful and touching. We learn from our elders and make the best for our "Aiga"
It's rare to have such a small Samoan aiga. I have a very small aiga and I know how they feel.

This was very nice. the acting but more so the quality of the film itself. nice! the story was short but it had a lot of emotion and also very believable. makes me proud to be Samoan
.
There's always a depressing or hardship undertone to most Samoan film. Says alot about how we view ourselves.
I wouldnt say depressing or hardship..its more about perseverance ...and adapting to change.
Absolutely fantastic!!❤️
I was in tears. But I did love it
I hope to see her in many more full movies, she has natural beauty and belongs on film
Thank you God bless ' Miss you mum xo

Vena Von Koppel Sorry about your mom but there is a greater pain, it’s a parent losing a child. It’s unnatural.
@@mcsuchnsuch Don't compare, they're both painful to adjust too. Different experiences for different types of people.
@@ThatGuy-qh5ec oh, you’re that kae.
@@mcsuchnsuch No I'm not, I'm just saying it's kind of rude to compare loss from different types of people. You should help them instead.
