Yeah vw has also already built their own in house battery recycling facilities while also working with northvolt and many other battery suppliers.

Great video/info...Rivians tank turn was a gimmick from the beginning if people understood that the only place you would have a chance to use is it would be on very loose ground, on their own video even though it was offroad they still had to wet the area considerably for it work
Tank turn would work anywhere. But it’s still dumb as it would shred the tires, and cause a ton of unnecessary torque on the half shafts.
"It might feel more like a ride in a theme park" That would be Tesla's reason to do it anyway.

Tesla so has the wind to it's back now. Short of financial mismanagement or malfeasance, they can afford to exponentially grow and add any and all businesses and resources to grow even faster and more powerful. They can now bring incredible pressure on not only suppliers, but also local, state, federal and international governments as well. Tesla energy will start to really dominate in the not so distant future adding even more power and dominance.

I ordered the tri motor fsd cybertruck and the S dual motor fsd while my cybertruck gets here. i have lots of solar to charge them both at home & backup battery system.

Right? I get 32 miles/hr from my home charger. Getting 25 at a public charger is appalling.
As a destination charger, that is fine. At a campsite, you can fully charge your car at night, while you sleep...

It's not cost that influenced Tesla abandoning radar. It's the amount of energy needed to avoid phantom braking. I would think that increased effectiveness will also lead to a greater drain on battery thus reducing range.
Love the fsd clips you are including. Also, tank turn = gimmick. You use it to show off and 99.9% of time it's useless

A data point on headlights: I drove an early refresh Model S demo, it would have been late '16 or early '17. Headlights were the usual HID, and were great. When I got my '17 Model S in May '17, it had LED headlights that were seriously sub-par. I don't know what's happened since then, but my headlights are not what one should expect on a car at that price point.
In few months or no time people will definitely be kicking themselves in regret for missing the opportunity to buy or invest in cryptocurrency. Can my fellow investor's say HELLO.

It will be interesting, there is 2 major players in the Lithium Recycling area and its Redwood and Li-Cycle (LICY). You could say ABML but they don't have a plant yet.
As for the speed limit thing - my opinion of US road traffic sign design was already poor, but I've just adjusted it further downward. That kind of confusion seems as if it would be completely impossible with, say, European signage. (The speed restriction would be black-on-white in a red circle, the road number black or white on a colored background, such as blue, yellow, or green - completely different. In general, the signs show much more evidence of actual design.)
FWIW, I listen almost exclusively to Sirius XM in my Model 3, but I have to stream it through my phone, which is a pain, but way cheaper than when I was paying to have it in my old Model S. Lots of great programming on there. It's either that, or streaming from Apple Music.

How does radar read speed limits, traffic lines and distinguish street light colors?
If VW where actually sending out updates to a huge fleet then it may actually be interesting. However they are actually only updating a tiny amount of cars and if this was raised in advertising a complaint could be raised.
Hmm will certainly be interesting seeing the comparison between level 2 systems across the automakers. Tesla will likely end up looking pretty good lol :)

VW should have announced it's the "only LEGACY automaker to provide over the air updates." However, there is a negative connotation to be a "legacy" company.
As for the other auto makers five bucks says they don't have much if any data and you can't build smart cars without building smart roads, not the broken down mess that exists in most countries. Just ask any truck driver, they know.

Tesla will only embrace those radars if they are cheaper than the ultrasonic and perform as well.
In Germany, you need to get a permit to use air. Or water. So far, they haven't been able to figure out how to require a permit for sunshine exposure. German legislature is studying American politicians in this regard. Given both state and federal legislatures have tried to pass a sunshine tax upon property owners for the amount of sun light that falls on their property. Luckily these bills have so far failed.
I don't own a Tesla, and so this is ONLY an observation on the reports about the "Speed Limit 25" and hwy "60" sign. This sounds like a red-herring because even google maps already has started marking road portions with speed limits and is NOT relying on visual recognition of SIGNS to determine a "safe speed" on residential streets. Would Tesla AI really not recognize the RESIDENTIAL nature of this road and error on the side of "60 mph" or is it more likely that it understood the speed limit sign? Would it really be jumping that quickly?
If they'd like to have such a comment taken seriously, perhaps they could put their Tesla in FSD mode, going down THAT street, and simultaneously having the passenger video what happens... did none of these posters not include a VIDEO of this happen?? It obviously would NOT be hard to reproduce... ;)
11:20 I wouldn't feel safe to drive that fast right next to a car parked like that, especially in America, where people are usually not the brightest minds, if he opens his door you're screwed. Also, I would drive over the parking spots, if the person coming from the other side drives too fast it would be a head on collision.

2 criticisms not trying to be rude, but I have given VW a chance, better ot have VW Electric than no VW Electric, and on the Radar side, Radar cuts through poor visibly (in visual wavelength of light) be it blinding sunlight, fog, sleet or rain which we humans depend on our eyesight that often is not sufficient during those events and I cannot see how any visual based system would exceed high reselution radar based systems. I believe the two main reason Tesla have dropped radar, current shortage on supplies and Radar / Visual system arguments that are likely the main cause of phantom braking events on Radar based Tesla's.

No I am 100% aure that no future of lidar or radar simply being the reason they can be easily corrupted by laser or EM waves coming from other lidar or Radar..consider a place where all the cars has lidar and radar will they be able to distinguish between the laser/EM of same frequency coming from other sources..simply no.This issue will never happen in visual based navigation because its independent of the source of light be it headlamps or Sun. Now my question is if average Joe like me can see this why not these other smart folks..what I am missing? please help.
This is already an issue in military radar equipment. Its been solved through using multiple frequencies. Pretty sure the same issue exists for wifi and Bluetooth in high density housing. Still seems to work fine with channel switching.

William G is opening a can of worms. The S and X are getting left behind and neglected by Tesla. They're rebranding it as "refreshed" is mostly bull shit. The 3 and Y are the bread and butter and they're treated as such. It's a huge disappointment considering the price gap.
