If they refuse to honor that, then Go to the optical and tell them that you want to replace your lenses for complete dissatisfaction. That should get you a refund to then go and buy your lenses where you get a one year scratch warranty
A surface scratch on the front surface of the lens will affect the quality of your vision, but will not affect the activation of the organic material that causes the lenses to get dark. Lenses will still activate and get dark
may i know whats the differences with the photochromic lenses to transition gray? coz ive got my new eye glasses and i expected that it was a shades of blue.. could be pls help me to have some ideas about this. coz i am new to use the eye glass with transition.thank u in advance
Hi Roxanne, Photochromic vs Transitions. Transitions is a brand, therefore a type of photochromic lens. Photochromic refers to the type of lenses that darken when exposed to UV rays. There are Photochromic lenses that can turn blue, but you would have to specify that at the time of ordering them. The person that sold you the lenses should have given you a demonstration with a real lens. You wanted for the lenses to turn blue, but they turn gray? Please let the salesperson know your expectations and they should help you get the one you want. You might have to pay a little more because there might be a price difference. Xtra active is much darker indoors.

Paid $80 and it’s usually 85-90 degrees here so they are barely transitioning I guess that’s what I get 😂😂
