Isotretinoin was the only solution which helped me throughout my acne journey. I had a really bad acne and my dermatologist prescribed me for 6 months followed by chemical peeling and clindamycin gel. And after 1 year I literally got rid of all the acne and marks and now enjoy a healthy skin
@@ShivamNaik9398 bro lips drying is very normal in fact during winters when I used to wake up my lips wouldn’t open coz of dryness. But you will be able to see the results after minimum 30-40 days. Just be patient and consistent and follow good skin care

I am using isotretinoin and it has some side effects,it causses dryness,peeling of skin,dry chapped lips and it does makes your skin sensitive to sun if you are using isotretinoin,there is must to use sunscreen as well,and it also causes mental health issues like depression, anxiety or suicidal thoughts,and due to to dryness it may cause hairfall or thinning of hair but its temporary.
It has nothing to do with mental health dude 😂

I suffered for years with acne and pimples. Finally a dermatologist prescribed Sotret 20 mg for 6 mnths and that was the end of acne for me. For the next couple of years whenever my skin got oily, I took isotretinoin for maybe a week or 10 days max. Kept reducing the frequency - 10 caps in 6 mnths to 10 caps in one year like that and now it’s been years since I had to take this medication last. Isotretinoin was the end of an era of pimples for me
My doctor had prescribed me isotretinoin 20mg for 3 months.. but i only consumed it for about 1.5 months because i had best results and my acne disappeared.. then now after a year my acne is again getting worse😢 Im starting isotretinoin again from today for next 3 months. It took me around 8 months, I had severe acne. It didn't have any side effect it just made my lips dry and I had a bit of peeling on my face at around 6 months. It worked like charm, made my open pores a little smaller too, it made my color a bit fairer and made my skin tone even. I hope it helps. @@harsh1895

I've used Isotretinoin 20mg for 6 months on doctrs prescription , then stopped it. My skin became acne free for a while, but as an athlete i maintain my diet avoid sugar and all junks ,kept my body hydrated the effect of Isotretinoin doesn't last long. But one thing i m not sure about is that i m getting alot of muscle injuries joint pains.

I dont know how to express my feeling in few words about this but I will say this very honestly that this isotretinoin thing has changed my life forever not in a good way but in a terrible way you cant even imagine. The side effects Im facing till date struggling every day for the past 10 yrs I can't express. I am not saying its bad for everyone but I humbly request to think 10 times before using it. Isotretinoin was literally worsttt for me...I couldn't even complete even 4 capsules...as it IRRITATED THE HELL OUT of my vulva and vagina...the side effect of it caused severe dehydration in my body due to which it caused itching in my vagina so bad that I was not able to sleep, move, talk etc...etc... although anti histamines like cetrizine relieved it...but I was not able to take it anymore

I have taken isotretinoin for more than 6 months I consumed it daily 5mg per day and after consuming it for month I stopped consuming it daily bcz my mental state started getting weird day by day I just shout or get anger issues so quick that my family members also said that what happened you didn't have that much anger issues my condition was that bad that I just got angry for a small thing and starts shouting loudly without control on my body. After I consumed it for 6 months I would definitely say don't consume it if your acne is age wise it will go but don't play with your mental state just for skin that people would see. I used neem remedy to solve the pimple issue from inside and outside.
1. Morning after waking up I brush my teeth and take neem capsule.
2. I drink plenty of water throughout the day.
3. I avoid sugar, deep fried and oily foods and apicy foods.
4. I apply face pack made of besan + turmeric +neem + rosewater and wash it within 10 minutes to avoid overdrying.
5. Before going to bed, I wash my face with a sulfate free - paraben free face wash and apply a thin layer of neem oil and leave it overnight.

I figured out the secret to Accutane. I took it when I was 15 for six months and the only side effect I did not want to have was the dryness and dry chapped lips. I had done a lot of research on it and my cousins took it as well so I knew quite a bit about the drug and how bad ppls lips would get and some would bleed. Nothing else worked for me my back looked like a pepperoni pizza so it was my last resort I needed to take it. But I just DID NOT want the chapped dry lips no matter what. Then I thought if accutane is going to basically suck all the fluid out of my body if I keep hydrating myself maybe it will help? I drank 4-6 L of water every single day when I was on acccutane for a full six months. Even tho I lived in the bathroom a lot It helped tremendously. It first gets worse your initial breakout before it starts to get better but I wore my chapstick and drank my water and my lips were good. Skin was a little dry but nothing lotion couldn’t fix. The constant rehydrating is what saved me and made everything so much easier. After 2.5 months my skin became clear I remember getting compliments all over I was very happy and now I’m 29 and it’s still going well. But that is the secret. You HAVE TO DRINK 4L atleast every single day while on it trust me it will help you soooo much. Accutane is going to literally suck all the fluid out of your system but if you keep hydrating it won’t be nearly as bad. Anyone who’s on it or looking to go on it please do this and watch how much easier your treatment will be. I promise. God Bless

Accutane is a medicine. I had that via a doc...I had really really really bad acne.... I had one set of treatment with this and it totally permanently wiped out my pimples and I never had pimples post that (been 6 years now).

Just that if it doesn't stop now I'd definitely start looking ugly 😂 so please let me know if you'd like to help me with that? (I've zero knowledge about these things and just want to get rid of them soon as i can).

M on 10 mg, never had any issues yes skin dryness but mine is already dry so i dont feel much difference If u have lip drying use Chaptax spf 15 its a holy grail product … accutane does take few weeks to show results Mine came back too so this time m taking it while improving eating habits… i never had acne in my entire life other not even teenage just 2 yrs back thy started showing up so i m too stressed even with a single pimple.. m working to make habit of a good diet and then leave it for good

Started isotretinoin 8mg few days back as per the prescription of my dermatologist. Even though i don't have much acne but let's see how it goes with the low dose.

So far so good. Just take care of few things. I hope you must be already knowing them, but still
apply moisturizer + broad spectrum sunscreen (even if u don’t go out)
Drink plenty of water
isotretinoin after dinner with half cup warm milk
Don’t exercise too hard
Do oiling in hair once a week so avoid scalp getting dry
Take care of lips with lip balm

@@mushtaqsmb3947 my derma told me that as per studies, muscle recovery is affected by this chemical. Also bone becomes very little weak. (all temporarily and only on higher dose)
