I saw him when I was 14 or 15 at Amazing Grace in Evanston Ill. Oh yea that was in the 70's. He was magical. Loved him and his music.

The man is a musical genius, but that gene obviously runs in his family! Anybody watching this, if you ever get the chance to see Livingston perform live make sure you don't miss that opportunity, not just the music but also his humor you will always remember!

Livingston Taylor, to me, epitomizes the warmth, simplicity, and good-naturedness of folk music and the people who love it.

I saw Livingston Taylor at The Towne Crier Cafe so many years (decades) ago, and I am so happy he has retained his humorous sparkle. Thanks!

He came into a coffee shop in SF today (Jan 2024), not to play, but just to get coffee.

My father was a Berkeley schooled musician who is respectably talented . I was not schooled which i regret in some ways however you have to be you in the end . The love of music comes out either way Some of the best musicians were not trained . It’s more primitive inspired or spiritual In a sense . But theory definitely helps in the process 🙂

There's a slight resemblance to James' voice, but really he just sounds like himself. He's an awfully good guitar player too.

The fact that he only listens to himself seems arrogant, but if it's true, so be it. I'm a HUGE fan of his brother, James, and wanted to hear what he sounds like. It looks like he was able to make a career for himself doing music. His sound is not for me though. Best of luck to him.
