What an excellent interview. James Batchelor did an admirable job (well prepared, erudite, and charming), while Mr. Rodger Dudding was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent story teller. TIME WELL SPENT. Thank you.
One of the best interviews ever. Was lovely watching James listen and ask intelligent well prepared questions in a most charming way. Rodger Dudding is not only modest but wonderfully interesting with passion and humour. Think we can all learn social skills from both of these knowledgable and fun characters. So often folk who have made their fortunes become arrogant and borish. Rodger is a prime example of the complete opposite. With him you have no envy, just admiration and want to shake his hand and congratulate him for becoming successful and wishing to share his passion for cars and living life to the full.....
Great guy to listen to, and amazing car collection. Would be great to see the whole collection in a video. The Tiriac car collection may be larger though.
"Dudding owns properties throughout England. When discussing other contributors to his success, Dudding describes the importance of promptly evicting tenants for failure to pay and keeping his prices low to minimize delinquency." Lovely...
What’s the issue with that? Should people be allowed to rent somewhere without paying? Keeping prices low is hardly a fault. Nobody - nobody - ever became “successful” (however that is defined) by being Mr Nice Guy and letting others walk all over you. If what he does is illegal, then let someone sue him. The only true test of morality is whether you can look at yourself in the mirror and agree that you are happy with your conduct. The view of anyone else is just that - a view
On one hand, he is like an art collector - he appreciates the masterpiece LAGONDA Wedge. BUT, it strikes me, as being a bit "selfish" to own so many of them, because therefore, there won't be many for anyone else to get hold of! One solution, would to hire them out (chauffeur driven so no-one would mistreat them).
So the story goes, a person stopped Roger in the street and asked him if he would like to buy a raffle ticket for the chance to win a Lagonda. he replied no thanks I've got too many already.

What a lovely bloke but I'm sure not someone you should ever underestimate, and Roger Dudding is likely the same. Fascinating interview.

I could listen to Mr Dudding all day long 👌🏻😎 ….. my claim to fame, I was offered an Aston Martin Lagonda ‘wedge’ for £4K …..and didn’t buy it 🤦🏻♂️
Man after my own heart, i too like Jensen's & wedges.

Hi where is this collection as I would love to visit it with my grandson?
what a gent
We need sideburns back😁
My guess: You need at least 23 Lagondas for the spare parts to keep just 1 running.
very down to earth
There must be ONE dependable daily driver Lagonda amongst all of them?
On one hand, he is like an art collector - he appreciates the masterpiece LAGONDA Wedge. The owner of that collection, what is his name'?
So the story goes, a person stopped Roger in the street and asked him if he would like to buy a raffle ticket for the chance to win a Lagonda. he replied no thanks I've got too many already.
Likeable Bloke
old rich guy bought 23 lagondas so no one else will ever get to own/drive one.Hooray
There are plenty left , even in the U.S. Most people run from them.
I have not managed to watch the video of the collection, in spite of doing a lot of clicking/
Sadiq Khan loves you he wants your money
