    12:47 why don't fight scout trainer instead of the girl ? Don't you lose when you are running back to reset her position ?

    • @danieltamele9573
      @danieltamele9573 Год назад +4

      Without checking, I assume that it's because the other trainer has more Pokémon and thus it is actually faster to reset her

    Can someone explain how a tas can manipulate that many crits?

    • @lemonscentedgames3641
      @lemonscentedgames3641 4 месяца назад +1

      A tas uses save states that predate ur RNG rolls. So this person essentially re rolls their RNG until its perfect. A pokemon TAS is a monumental piece of work. So much RNG rerolling. And then the "tool" assists you by playing ur inputs back. TAS's in games like m64 and OoT showcase frame perfect glitches that humans could never get consistent, versus TASs of pokemon games which are essentially just patience projects in RNG manipulation

    Why did you use repels during the run when you can manipulate random encounters?

    • @globurim

      Not sure but I think it's explained in the video description about random encounters.

    How is he getting all critical hits?

    • @LordAshera1994
      @LordAshera1994 Год назад +7

      I'll try to explain. But RNG can be manipulated through frame by frame inputs. Using a Tool Assisted Speedrun (TAS) hence the different menus opening and closing each battle you can force yourself to get perfect "RNG" I.E crits whenever you need them or quick claw procs whenever you need. Or even down to getting the right move from metronome then turning that move into a crit. See cloyster, slowbro and lapras from lorelei.

  • @ranking8375
    @ranking8375 2 года назад +5

    All critical hits???? Tf??

    • @YouW00t
      @YouW00t 2 года назад +26

      This is a Tool-Assisted Speedrun, which means the player can manipulate the numbers rolled on the background so they always hit a crit or get a high roll on damage. You may say it's cheating but offscreen it took many hours of frame by frame testing to guarantee favourable numbers, it's also meant as a way of showing a form of play otherwise impossible for humans.
