I guess while we’re on the subject, I think Kurtis is way better on other people’s stuff. I don’t really care for his videos on his channel, just not my type of humor (feels a bit try-hard to me, too obvious with the jokes, not to sound like a boomer but maybe too immature?) but on other peoples videos he usually stands out as being the funnier, more grounded one. I basically only watch kurtis videos when he’s on someone else’s channel at this point, haha. He’s great at conversational humor and riffing off of other people, i don’t think he’s great at being by himself (never seen his stand up, but that’s just because if they are anything like his solo videos it’s just a bit too Gen-Z I guess for my taste).

It’s traditionally treated with stimulants (Ritalin and Adderall are basically tame versions of coke and speed, respectively) and caffeine can have the same paradoxical effect. Ofc it’s not the same for everyone and caffeine making you sleepy doesn’t mean you have ADHD on its own, but it can be a pretty strong tell if you’re already suspicious that you might have it

This felt like watching a pair of friends but not in the same way as watching Cody and Noel, as brilliant as their chemistry is together, it feels like they have a history and a humour that's separate to us. So Kurtis is pretty much like this and it’s usually up to the other person to have super intense energy to balance it lol. See Danny or James collabs. Kurtis energy isn’t different besides maybe being more amused at funnier videos lol.
