Thank you for your review!
My pleasure!
The bow change legato drives me crazy. I especially miss it when you play downwards progressions. I'd never play my violin like that. The bow change is so obvious here, but the overall sound of the violin is amazing (like most of cinesamples solo instruments). Needs an update.
Wanted this ever since this review, finally got it yesterday!
I have personally tried the yoshua bell and the emotional violin, I think this new library comes with a couple of years of delay, the sound like everything from cine samples is very good, but to be a current library it lags behind other options Older, what you think?
Not bad but for me the best and most emotional sounding Violin is still the Virharmonic Bohemian Violin.
is this library better than Embertone Joshua Bell solo violin?
NOPE
2:32 the lick
This sounds great.
How does it compare to the Spitfire Solo Violin? What I don't like about that plugin is that the soloist does his bow changes at random so you can't do legato with vibrato.
Never used Spitfire!
@@ChristopherSiu Did I understand you correctly that the bow changes at random can be turned off with this plugin?
I think this sounds good, but I'm gonna go for the spitfire solo violin, for it's agility and playability. Good video tho, as always! :)
The immediate and constant vibrato, with no ability to control it, makes what otherwise would be a nice library almost unusable, at least for longer notes.
It definitely has a stylized flavour, for sure. Definitely not applicable for every situation.
could you help me ! I already added Cinesamples - Taylor Davis to kontakt 6.2.2! Find the library successfully! but it doesn't allow opening the nki files .. if you help me I would really appreciate it
I would so buy this if I didn't live with a violinist
Hey you know what violin she uses on he’s a pirate
in the first bit,did i hear some ET Christopher :-)
It's such a problem, people reviewing instruments they don't know anything about, and recommending them just because they got sponsored to do so.
Not having vibrato control means that every tone has the same vibrato development, which is not natural but totally unnatural, and a big problem to people with ears.
Would you want a violin without vibrato control?
nope.. i dislike the sound of it. mechanical sounding. might be you need to drive the dynamic and such more, for it to become real sounding.
WARNING; THE LICK at 2:32
I don’t like the tone of this violin. It’s overly bright, static, and emotionless.
Sounds kinda noisy... reminds of early Cinesamples recordings that got a remake/denoise make-over with later updates.
