Two things I add: a strip of solid detergent and a dry bag. The dry bag is great for keeping your dirty clothes separate from your clean clothes. Mid trip, you can use the dry bag and the detergent to wash your clothes - no reliance on hotel laundry facilities. A larger dry bag can also cover your backpack and protect your camera gear if you’re caught hiking in the rain.
Two extra items, but they are multifunctional and allow you to pack even fewer clothes.

I took a similar backpack to Spain for two weeks last summer and the most helpful thing I brought was a pack of laundry detergent sheets. You can dissolve those things in hotel sinks, do your laundry wherever you're staying, hang it up to dry, and only have to pack clothes for four or five days at most without getting stinky.

Fabulous video! I learned how to pack exactly like this from my husband, who is a serious traveler and hiker. We take 3 shirts, 3 underwear, three socks, and a pair of shorts or joggers. We wear a shirt, pants, underwear, socks, shoes, sweater, and jacket on the plane. Every few days we go into a laundromat to wash clothes. You can go this way forever. We have lived entire semesters in Switzerland with this packing formula. Have a great trip, it is a beautiful country!

Nicholas, I am happy for your being able to go on this trip in May. It looks like you have given much thought as to what to take with you. I ask you to please consider taking a scarf. It gets windy up in the mountains, and being able to keep your neck warm will make a big difference. I am a 78 year old grandma and I cannot help myself from trying to prevent the younger generations from experiencing discomforting situations if possible.
I always enjoy viewing your videos and always give them a thumbs up.

As always a great video. I use a Fuji gfx camera and I reckon it will also fit in that little brevite bag. But a way to reduce your packing might be to consider swapping your underwear and socks for merino versions. You only need 2 pairs of each as they can be worn for 2-3 days if you need to and can be washed in the shower or bath each night and will be dry by morning. I use icebreaker and it’s excellent gear. Same applies to their t-shirts

hey I’m doing this but just with a 8.5L bag lol. clothes were the hardest part to figure out.
good call on the proof 72 hour shirts, I also bought a few for travel. what I do with mine is pack them along with 4 pairs of boxers and three pairs of socks into a small eagle creek compression cube. really presses them down into a pretty compact area. rather than rolling them I fold everything as few times as possible and stack it all like a big sandwich. zipping up the cube is a little tricky but I do it by “pinch-zipping”.
so that’s 3 shirts, 4 pairs of undies and 4 pairs of socks in my bag.
then I wear a 4th t-shirt and a button-down shirt as the 5th shirt, my 5th pair of underwear and 5th pair of socks when traveling. the button-down shirt is really clutch because it can easily be worn with the t-shirt, or by itself. it also can be ventilated if its too warm, and looks nice for fancier occasions.
5 outfits total with 8.5L of space. anything is possible with a bit of creativity haha. having one bag is great I think you’ll enjoy it. cheers.

Not bad. A couple of recommendations though, I would definitely bring a different jacket if you are only going with one. Something packable and more multipurpose like a rain jacket would probably serve you better. Also, an Anker two in one outlet and powerbank could be game changing for you since you are bringing multi devices and lack a power bank.
Plus one for your toiletry kit though if that's really all you are bringing, that's awesome.

While watching the video I was thinking about a brand I personally love so much that focuses on minimal travel. It is called "tropicfeel", and they craft their products using sustainable, recycled materials. They offer sneakers, backpacks, clothing and various accessories. What I enjoy the most about their products is that they are very versatile and most of them are also packable/foldable. I was able to travel 1 week across the Mediterranean in a cruise carrying their Nest backpack only. So just wanted to mention it in case someone needs to find some products to travel minimally.

You could easily get by with two pairs of socks and two of underwear. Try wool socks by Bombas, Smartwool or Darn Tough. You can wear them for days without any stink. Two pair should suffice, probably without any washing either. For underwear, try a synthetic brand like ExOfficio. Wash a set in the the shower or sink (I just use the hotel soap), and set to dry overnight. Two pair is nice for a rotation, but you can easily get away with one. If you are busy and can't wash them at night, you can usually stretch to two days of wear, especially if you're not super active or sweaty on a given day. Good luck on your trip and have fun!

We spent 2 weeks in Switzerland, it was awesome and somewhat more formal than we are ( take at least 1 collared shirt, just for the sake of a restaurant). Its a beautiful country and very safe, you will have an awesome time. If you haven't heard, grab lunch in the grocery stores, they have a great selection of pre made food at very reasonable prices and the food courts in the train stations are nice as well. Take many pictures, and have a great time

I have a Sony a6500(so a little smaller than full frame), sigma 30mm, and Sony 20mm. I can fit everything pretty well but these are fairly small lenses especially the 20mm

You should learn to ranger roll your clothes! It's a very useful skill we learn in the military to pack a lot of clothes in confined spaces.
