This bag was 4700€ and was purchased from the flagship store at Faubourg Saint-Honoré. The color is "plomb" (French for lead; was previously called "lead grey"). The epsom version of the same size was 4500€. Skip to 12:25 for the try-on.

Hehe yeah, this isn't the most practical, but the design is very sleek

Thanks! This backpack is relatively light compared to a Birkin or Kelly; the leather is not as thick or stacked up as those two bags.
Will a 30-inch MacBook fit in that bag?
So, more than half a year has passed since you got this. How are you liking it so far? I'm thinking of getting it but I'm afraid it's not practical because of the lack of pockets.
And it's been half a year sitting in the box in my closet...unfortunately. It's a really nice men's silhouette, but I wouldn't have gotten it if I knew I was able to get a Birkin the next day TBH
But maybe that's the reason why you got a Birkin. I read from PF that purchases prior to your scheduled appointment at FSH increases your chances of scoring. But yeah, I wish I could buy that bag from you, but you live in the US. I'd be killed with import taxes.
I had different SAs, so I don't think that factored into it for me. When you make and get an appointment with a leather specialist, they mostly just focus on those hard to find pieces. The city back is available to anyone who comes in, though I doubt they have a ton waiting in storage.
What I meant was purchases are tied to you, i.e. your passport and not a particular SA, and when it comes to deciding whether you get an appointment next day or not, and if you will get offered a Birkin, it depends on your purchases. The booking system is also tied to your passport, so it's not hard for Hermes to see whether you've bought shoes or jewellery the day before. Then again these are all just speculations, but they make a lot of sense. :)

This looks kinda similar to Loewe's version.
Granted this piece is very minimal and chic and it does appear to wear very well, I'am very impressed with its playability and nominal rigidity however at this price range I feel that this piece is lacking practicality it needs more...
Well it's Hermès and you're paying a premium for the brand, but the way Hermès handles leather is top notch
How does the leather on this backpack compare to Fendi’s selleria leather?
This leather is much thinner and the grain is very subtle. Fendi's selleria leather feels almost the exact same as taurillon leather
This cost 8,450 USD, so you got this cheaper.

Not a fan of this one. It looks like a blue turd. Your Birkin is the most glorious bag I’ve ever seen, but $8k on a back pack is just a waste of money.
