Man, I am a one man show, and it is so hard to do infrastructure and quail farming, and sales. I hope you really appreciate the perfect team you have there!
Hallo from South Africa,i noticed something,it looks like u have two trays on top of eachother while there is stil space in the incubator, are there any reason u do it that way🙏
My question is about the motor on the rotation on the egg turner. I can come up with ways to make it go in a complete Circle however I can't think of how it works going back and forth like a small egg turner does
When you remove the chicks after 24hrs does it negatively affect the ones that are in process of hatching? How long do you wait before giving up on the unhatched eggs?
From Utah here... do you think we will get many hatched eggs if our Turner wasnt plugged in. Went to put them into lockdown and realized the egg Turner had either come unplugged or forgot to plug it in... saw one pipping today. Day 16
Hello, i get it you incubate in batches and not all at once. My question is regards the lockdown incubator. That means you open it often. What happens to the eggs that are at the early stages of hatching while some trays (hatch box) have already hatched 48hours earlier and you have to open the incubator to bring them out. Won't the rush of fresh air into the incubator affect the other hatch boxes that just stated hatching ?
You are assuming he opens if often, in reality his business model is far enough along for scheduling incubations/hatchings to be on the same day, or staggered far enough out to allow batch A to be complete before batch B, but judging from the capacity of the incubator and hatcher, my assumption is planning and scheduling for an all at once hatching. Because it sure would be a disturbance, just like in a styrofoam hatcher if you took the top off to piece meal in hap hazardly incubation scheduled chicks.
Hey Zack did not know what to do I called twice to see if I could order some quail chicks I had a very poor hatch rate of 11 out of 50 I ordered the eggs off u
Papa is in a video where he built this hatcher, pretty recent as I recall. I won't spoil that video for you by telling you what he used for the heater!

Can you do a video on how you built the Turner? I want to build a smaller 4 tray version but not having good luck finding videos online
That is on the list to do
Awesome I’ll make sure I stay on the lookout!

opening frequently would cause the chick to be suction-cupped to the inside of the egg
That's my question!

I will get to your texts and or emails as soon as I can.
What is your heat source? Did I miss that?

Arnold Natürlich Thanks I just watched it. Great ideas as always with this crew!
When the eggs are in lockdown and they hatch, they are in the drying out period. WHAT HAPPENS TO THE HUMIDITY AND TEMP at that point?
Nothing it should stay at what it was
The humidity should go up by about 20% depending on where you live
@@rufusthebunny8018 there is an exhausting fan to adjust the humidity back to required level
