@@mervin2931 I recommend you to check a Suzuki genuine spare parts catalogue web. You can find here the differences between carburetors. I think that you can use the carburetors of 1995 model in your 1988 bike, the base is the same, even the repair kit you can find in the market is compatible for all models 88-96 If I were you, I would buy it (95 model) and install it in your 88 bike. Suzuki produced this bike from 1988 to 1997 with minimum changes.

According to the manual, years 88-89 carburetor type is BST31SS.
Years 90-96, type is BST33SS.
