  • Are you an aspiring UX designer feeling lost in a sea of processes and frameworks? In this video, we debunk the myth that following a standard UX process is the key to success. Instead, we emphasize the importance of understanding the underlying principles of UX design and applying them creatively to solve real-world problems.
We use relatable analogies, like hiring a maid and making coffee, to illustrate how value creation is the ultimate goal of UX design. We also discuss the importance of embracing ambiguity and using your own judgment to tailor your approach to each unique situation.
This video is a must-watch for anyone who wants to break free from the constraints of rigid processes and become a truly valuable UX designer. We'll challenge you to think critically, embrace your creativity, and develop your own unique design stories that will set you apart in the competitive UX job market.

Great to hear that how ambiguity helps us to have good stories , sure being ambiguous leads us in to deep thinking and makes us explore paths and have a great journey at end 😇 Anudeep these videos are really helping and giving boost for having great learnings .
Saying Big No to process will take a genuine path towards solving a problem, will apply what all understandings i have and this genuine Approach will make it all work 🎉🎉🎉🎉

    Hi Anudeep,
Valuing things is important in our life, from valuing a person to things, work, the thinking process-everything. Even this video assigns a more important meaning of 'value' to everyone😊

You have great common sense. Learn to trust it. As a mentor that’s my effort in being a little critical making you purposely take your mind away from the bookish terms for now.
Later when you get the heart of being a designer and as you learn to trust your own thought process, bookish words and jargon will totally mean something different and very close to what you realised with common sense.
And that’s when you use them, people can understand you in the true sense of those words.

Hey there anudeep sir. I'm someone who has passed class 12th and somewhat wanted to be designer or kind of stuff and figured out that ui/ux designer field sets good for me. I just need a help, the way you described how ux processes should look like in real life rather than some theoretical man theoretical stuff as well as the crux of exp of a ux designer , so that we can design well in the future?

My advice, if you are in second year of college… just observe design around you and learn. Don’t get into any resources for now. The better you observe, the better you learn and the better designer you become.

Hi, I am Kaushik an entry level UX designer working on my 1st project case study, had been struck in the dilemma from past 4-5 days on how to present it in such a way that I can get hired and your video have cleared all of my doubts so I am really thankful of you for that.
But I have a confusion should I go with slide decks or a medium article to showcase my story. What would be more helpful in my interviews while presenting my story. And yes one more thing how many projects should I have in my portfolio to be ready to apply for jobs.
I do not want to compromise the quality of my problem solving skills and the time it takes to deal with a particular problem but the need of job and less no. of projects in my portfolio are making me doing it. So how should I deal with that sir.

    • @UXAnudeepVLOGs
      @UXAnudeepVLOGs  Месяц назад +4

The answer is not dependent on what ‘should be done’. The answer lies with what you are. Because your portfolio is not about the document you show, but about the person you are.
Leave all the formulas and tips, think of this: What kind of a storyteller am I? Am I someone who can be expressive? Do I express vocally or visually? Also how in many examples can I establish my skills? If 3 projects have three different stories, I’ll talk about three stories. If I have one good story, I’ll talk about one!
The moment you follow a templated answer: Hey it’s good to have 3 projects in your portfolio. It’s no longer you that your portfolio represents. It is some artificial template follower that 1000s of others can do as well!
Your imperfections make you unique. That’s what your story is about.

own the process >>> follow the process blindly, people who really understand the value of these words will do great in life and become valuable in companies..
people who are arrogant and see everything negatively can never understand or never grow.. and they complain why they are getting replaced 😂
