I know it's hard to do, but the video doesn't seem to line up with what's being played. Like at 0:35 he's strumming the chords on the high strings without playing the root note, but the root notes just keep on getting hit in the audio. Same with lots of other parts in the song, like 0:55. Still a great cover by sound alone, but I kind of wish there was no video. The original is played on one guitar, the video shows one guitar, but the audio either has multiple guitars or at least doesn't reflect what's in the video.
If you’re observant enough or actually tried to cover that song, you should know that those parts you mentioned aren’t strummed but rather plucked. His strumming motions were in fact string skipping motions and not plain strumming as your eyes were seeing and hitting the notes you’re mentioning. Ichika played those parts the same way in this video so I’m not sure what you’re on about. Obviously the audio is probably either pre-recorded or cut a few times and using angles to getaway from the cuts. But the fingerings are spot on.
