THE FALL GUY 2024

Back in the 1980s Colt Seaver was my hero. Stuntman by day, bounty hunter by night and a bathtub in the garden. This week saw the release of the big screen version starring Ryan Gosling. A lot has changed since the 80s but Colt still delivers thanks to a great fun script, direction by DAVID LEITCH and the STUNT DESIGNER CHRIS O'HARA watching out for him at every turn.

I think enjoyed this movie. Not to the extent I was hoping for but the stunts and action were great, the cast was excellent and all the behind the scenes of the movie set sequences had my inner movie geek very satisfied! Great review

Can’t wait to see this! The car knocked down was the first stunt I learned when I was going to start my stunt work apprenticeship. Probably the only professional stunt I was able to do before I broke my neck later that day. Amazingly, many years later, I was hit by a car on the streets of NYC and rolled off almost the exact same way, landing on my feet. My almost stunt career probably save my life! Many years ago a friend of mine was knocked down exactly like that , he was in hospital for 3 months 😂

BTW Booze is not served in movie theaters in the United States, well at least not in the north east where I live. The idea is weird.

I agree, people leaving whilst you’re trying to watch the credits is annoying, and disrespectful to the talent being credited, perhaps films should go back to having the credits at the beginning? Likewise why must TV channels squeeze the credits to one side and distort them just to put a still up of the next show accompanied by a voice over?

After 40 years of Indiana Jones, James Bond and Mission etc do you really think the public aren't aware of the contributions made by stunt people ? Just a vehicle for the two most bankable stars around.

I hate popcorn , and nowadays you see it sold at football games , which it totally wrong
