I got engaged in April 2022 (4 days after my 22nd birthday) and got married 5 months later. Been married 10 months on Sunday and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Never been happier. We had a small ceremony and just invited our close friends to a little bar for drinks in the evening. No major expenses, no stress, simple and can’t imagine planning an entire wedding.

Hey Molly, when visiting LA, I would recommend to visit Hermossa Beach/Manhatta Beach. It is about 25 mins from the airport and 45 minutes from downtown LA. But it is a great beach town/area and I think you would really like the vibe there!
I’m 22 from the UK, been with my boyfriend for almost 7 years and we agreed 2 years ago that we wanted to get engaged/married however neither of us have the desire to have a proper wedding. We’re looking at a v small Vegas Chapel wedding on a friends trip in 2 years time, all of the planning for a traditional wedding seems very stressful and expectant and just not our thing at all.

I haven't travelled overseas in a very long time because of my emetophobia. The last place I went (Vietnam), I got really bad food poisoning twice over the few weeks I was there. Since then I've gone vego so I'm hoping that I can avoid food poisoning when I go to Sri Lanka next year. A friend has recommended Travelan, which you take before you eat each meal so I'm going to try that. If I get any kind of tummy troubles it will end up in a panic attack. Unfortunately I'm someone who gets sick so easily despite trying everything in my power to avoid it.

You both are sweet peas . Best of luck what ever you do ! That is not true about no alcohol in supermarkets . Woolworths , Coles and Aldi sell alcohol . In Woolworths and Coles , their liquor stores are next to the supermarkets . It is sort of seperate but still part of the supermarkets . I love Dan Murphy liquor store . They have a big range of alcohol and better than the supermarkets .
I’m going to Bali in September, and I can’t stress how nervous and anxious I am about ‘Bali belly’…SO worried about it!😬 Any tips?
Don't drink the water , only drink bottled water, remember this when brushing your teeth and in the shower. If you do happen to find yourself feeling unwell go and buy a drink in Bali called pocari sweat, also take a probiotic daily. Some people like to take activated charcoal tablets if they are unwell but remember these can interfere with medications so if you take any medications at all I wouldn't recommend it.
Take 1 charcoal tablet every day to help prevent it! I’ve been to Bali a few times and always take charcoal tablets when I’m there
Don’t worry! I went for 2 months and never got sick. Just make sure the tap water doesn’t get in your mouth. Use hand sanitizer. Wash fruit etc with bottled water. Ask in the restaurants if they have used bottled water for the ice (they usually do) have the best time!

Also I can really relate to not eating meat in restaurants because of not trusting them because that's exactly what I do even though I never had a bad experience 😅 So lucky you grew out of it, I feel like all my weird anxieties and whatever are only getting worse I honestly am so scared to go to other countries because of my fear of poisonous animals, really probs to you for going to asia besides your fear of spiders! 🥹
When I was younger I thought I wanna have kids at like 24. Now I'm 24 and that literally gives me anxiety especially since I'm still doing my master's and I haven't seen anything other than education and working. I feel exactly the same as I did when I was like 19 🥹
