Can’t speak highly enough about these guys. I had my 2017 cruiser in for a tune, gearbox tune, torque converter lock kit and a spot clean. Running 35’s I made the same amount of gains as the video plus saving over 2.5 litres per 100kms. Worth every cent!!!!
@@smantvic hey Chris, sorry for the delay mate, I have only just seen your question now... Yep, awesome - so prices all vary. Are you able to please give us a call on 1800034373 so one of our quoting guys can chat to your & price you up?
This Cruiser looks good with a 2” lift and 33’s! They look just as tough and less like a moon buggy in my opinion. Good power gains. Are you guys in Adelaide?
I agree with the gains you can get out of a tune and the crap the catch can will eliminate from the intake. The question I have is if you do an ecu tune can it be reversed if it needs to go back to Toyota for an expensive repair? ie injectors, DPF, turbos. The engines in these are worth 28-30k to rebuild, even though a tune would not damage the engine the tossers at Toyota would blame a catch can or ECU tune as soon as their is an issue.
Yes it can Andrew... And we also save everyone's tunes too - so it's easily loaded back into your ECU after it's come back from the dealership, at no cost to you!
Hey Russell - that does not matter. The PWR mode does not give the car more power or torque - it is just like a throttle controller. So, if you have your foot down at 25% on the throttle, the ECU thinks that it is down, say, 75%. Hence why it appears to go a lot better off the line. That is all that the PWR button does & all that a throttle controller does.
Be great for driving to opal mining country which is about 5 to 6 hours from where I live ..and.I know someone who has opal miner friends/ contacts there....
The DPFs are still retained & are restrictive to noise. This one makes a very slight note. To make more of a note, a straight-pipe is needed to replace the muffler.
Hey mate - no it does not! Under the ACCC it is illegal for the dealership or manufacturer to void the warranty of a vehicle due to a custom dyno tune having been performed.
Keep driving cars mate… it’s not about speed. These things are over 3000kg. These 3ton cruisers pull a 3500kg trailer with ease. The 4.5ltr turbo diesel would eat a 4.6 petrol. You don’t seem to understand torque… may could have a 500hp petrol car with 500nm, vs a 350hp cruiser with 1100nm. The cruiser would tow its 3500kg trailer plus the car and trailer up the hill. Quicker then the car could tow the trailer…. Yes a 500hp car is quick, but you’ve lost the concept of what these are built/used for…. These aren’t fast, people don’t want these to be “fast” the want them to tow more, carry more and maybe have a bit more useable power…. If you want a fast car, buy a car….

Awesoem stuff Adam! Thank you for your review mate, that's great!
@@UltimateDieselTuning Hey guys, I also have a 2017 GXL, but with standard wheels & tyres. whats the budget cost for the work done?

These guys are awesome. They tuned my 2009 LC200 and got 180kw and 680nm running 33's. Feels great all round.
Cheers mate!
That's a damn good looking Land Cruiser ❤
Stunning beast land cruiser is the most expensive suv here in the Philippines
Thats a beast!
Mixalis and drives so nice as well
What a monster!!! 😍👌
Agree
Man wish we had this in the USA
best car ever made
The LC IN USA needs that engine.

That is beautiful.
Good looking rig

Does this have a suspension lift or is it just the 33's that make it look taller. Also what is the rim and tyre size? Any rubbing?
It has a 2" lift in it. We did not do the wheel/tyre combo so unsure sorry mate.
Are the base line numbers taken off the standard 200 Series with it in ECO or ECT PWR mode?

I thought the gains would be a lot higher for a V8
@@AxeDropTV no, not from the 1 VD in a 200 Series. The 79s make much bigger gains.
I would have loved to hear that exhaust mod
Pretty quiet mate - the DPFs make them quiet still.
What size rims and tyres on this thing?
Is factory warranty retained if you have a tune?
Hi Neil yes it sure is. No change to warranty!
@@UltimateDieselTuning thanks for the reply 🙂
How much is that going to cost to tune 200 series?
Hi Robin. Please give us a call on 1800034373!
For these mods you're looking at the far side of 4,000 bucks..
No mention of what type and size exhaust they fit for this kind of tune. Interested to know if it’s got a decent note.

Can you fix the dusting issues
Are they 18" rims or 20"
????
It's a customer's car.
Details on the wheels & tyres please
It's a customer's car mate, not one of ours so unsure
wow
Does that void your new car warranty?
Hey mate - no it does not! Under the ACCC it is illegal for the dealership or manufacturer to void the warranty of a vehicle due to a custom dyno tune having been performed.
do you have a tuner in wa for my mq triton
Yes, Garage 101 - ask for Danny!
Is this in usa ?
Australia mate...
It has no sense that
A pwerful 4.5v8 diesel engine to produce 119 kw = 160 hp
Probably your statistics are wrong
power is less at the wheels than at the crank
The power numbers we provide are at all 4 wheels not at the Flywheel like the factory numbers. It is best to look at the % gains you get on dynos
tune a 4.6 petrol .. will be faster than this
