I am sorry that your going through that! Please make sure that you ask any questions that you have right away and have every conversation you want to have. Because there may come a time, when the liver is shutting down that your Dad may begin to forget things or become confused. It happened to my Mom at the end. She seemed like she was still pretty strong physically and was even enjoying company between naps. But one day, she just starting pausing when asked questions. And she told me to call everyone and let them know that she may not be able to remember them or formulate coherent thoughts anymore, so come and visit right away, if they had something they needed to say/know. She was gone 2 days after that. The doctors said that it is commonplace, because the toxins are not being filtered out of the blood. I sure wish the doctors would have warned us about that in the beginning. Hopefully you and your family have a different experience. But just in case, talk early and often so you have enough time❤
Teacher in life and in death. It’s an honor to see the one who gave you life take their last. You walked him home and gave him a profoundly good death. Thank you for sharing him with us!
Cancer doesn't always afford you time... My dad got sick quickly I brought him to the hospital he was diagnosed as stage 4 lung cancer it was no more than four weeks before he was gone and the time he was here he was not himself totally out of it.. My dad was 66 devastated us it was a year ago now.. I can't even watch this episode because It will break me
I listen to this yesterday on podcast iPhone. It’s a surreal listening cause I was reliving me a Lindsay’s last years on this earth. I love ❤❤❤❤ you and miss you bae
My dad worked at a really good heart hospital. I got the call he had a heart attack, I literally thought nothing really of it as he was in great hands. I was wrong. We just had the first grand baby about 6 months prior, I didn't go see him when they called in family. I like to remember him swinging my daughter in the tire swing. And I'm coming on 2 years clean...he never once saw me sober.

You took the time to comment twice. You NEEDED to be a twat, twice? Seek therapy.
Ur guests used to be good. Plz have better people on man. These no name c list celebs aren't what we want

@powderandpaint14 i want Ryan's podcast to be bigger than it is. For that we need better well known guests
