    Just bought a Ryzen 5500 after watching this video along with an MSI mATX & 2x8GB of Kingston DDR4 2400 all for the same price as a Ryzen 7600

    • @goldfries
      @goldfries  5 месяцев назад +1

      Why 2400 though? See if you can sell it off at a good price and get 3200Mhz CL16 kit. Your CPU will get some performance increase.

    • @goldfries
      @goldfries  4 месяца назад

      @@Frank_Pods not a problem either. Very much depends on the game and GPU you're using. In some cases you won't feel the difference at all. It's a good to have but not a deal breaker.
      Enjoy! 😊

    omg is this the legendary goldfries website i was referring about 10 or 15 yrs ago? xD
    i just built a 5500 system as well, but for any new build, when u actually add motherboard and ram into calculation, 5600 is a good value as well. the price differences is smaller when combine with mboard and ram. but when u come from old ryzen 1xxx or 2xxx series, then by only upgrading cpu only to 5500, then the value look higher compare to 5600. anyhow both is good value

    • @goldfries
      @goldfries  5 месяцев назад

      Yes. In fact personally I'd go with the 5600 but some people want it really cheap, so most likely they go with A520 board too. Others might be as you said, upgrading from older gen.

    • @goldfries

      No difference on 1650 but the 12100F is superior for sure when it comes to Illustrator and Photoshop where CPU does the work.

    Im pairing this exact cpu with an intel arc a770 sparkle titan 16gb 32 gigs of ram ddr4 3200mhz a 600 wat psu and a steel legend 550 mother board would you say this is a decent build? Im after buttery smooth gameplay overall i cannot stand stutter in games, i was told focus more on the GPU overall and the a770 seems pretty decent in recent comparison videos online, would love to know what you think about my build.

      @goldfries  2 месяца назад

      Intel ARC has improved a lot, I'm gaming with ARC A380! However you still should proceed on Intel with caution / lowered expectations, just in case.

    Value depends on the cost of the whole system imo. As you can spend 50% more on the cpu like the 5600 to $150 on a $500 system its 10% more or 5% more on a $1000 and the 5600 is like 15% more performance.
