😢 I never comment on people's channel. BUT THIS MUST BE SAID...I do appreciate your honesty, cause I live in Waner Robins. BUT...as a single person w/o kids. This tiny geriatric town is NOT worth the cost. The main places to eat here are franchises and fast food. The only thing to do is movies, eat fast food, and shop at outdated stores (i.e. Khols, old Navy, Walmart, Target, Ross, etc.) Most ppl go to Macon and ATL (ATL is more popular)There are a few boutiques, but nothing new. The mall is sad...River crossing is better, but it's dying slowly...much like the residents. WR is great if you are retiring, dying or breeding, but that's it...unless you like things simple or a homebody. Job opportunities are scarce (the base, contractor for the base, hospital, and food server or cashier for Walmart) you either make dang good money, some livable wage (most educated ppl I know make btwn $45K to $60K) or around $10/hr (it's better since Covid). There are certain grps of ppl that can live here and enjoy it, but most hate it but it's affordable so they stay, begrudgingly. I think there was a big BUT about what was said, but I love that you broke down the cost and didn't BS around. BTW, before Covid hit was cheaper to live here...I only paid $115,000 for my house, and $250/mo for my car. That was 6 yrs ago before Covid. I wish anyone the best of luck if moving here...😒 Sorry for the long rant. I wish you all the best on your channel and future endeavors 😊
