Why the nips and sausage? I’m all for it but damn... it felt like my bohemian aunt and uncle were giving me tips right up until the end. Then it was SATANS PLAYGROUND
sorry to be off topic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an instagram account? I somehow lost my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
That ending made me so happy that there’s people out there that let things be organic instead of being political correct. Just be a man and woman. There’s nothing to hide.
I liked the way they are able to take road trips on a budget. It seems like a fun of fun and they are on the same page and agree on how to plan their trip.
Love love love road trips! My girls and I did a spur of the moment road trip from Cali to Vegas. It was the most fun ever! Looks like you 2 have loads of fun as well!
My husband and I have an older RV and we head out on wonderful road trips once a month. We don't have to travel to far to have a wonderful time. We try to simplify our trips. We take our bikes and explore.
We always packed a cooler, there's ones that run off the car outlets, but it's better to initially cool the box down with ice. We froze all our drinks too, and that kept the food cool as the drinks melted. Packed stuff to make sandwiches, and hot dogs that we'd grill at a campsite. Then my Dad would pop open the back of his Jeep, and we'd picnic out of the back of it. Have baby wipes in the car to clean up messes and freshen up without having to stop. Also a jug of water for drinking and a jug of water for light washing up. Wearing comfy clothes is so important, and layers if there's a big difference between daytime and nighttime temps. Pillows and blankets make long trips more comfortable too. Driving ~65mph and keeping a consistent speed (chill out and enjoy the drive, not passing, going with the flow) will make any car sip gas (unless you have a strong headwind pushing against you). Also make sure your tires and battery are in good shape, and your fluids are topped up. Nothing will ruin a roadtrip like a breakdown in the middle of nowhere. A cool trick that I want to try is buying some fine black mesh or netting, and depending on whether there's metal or fabric around the inside of your car windows, you either use magnets or velcro to hold up the fabric. This makes a bug net, so you can crack your windows for ventilation without worrying about bugs. You can buy them, but it also seems like they'd be cheap to make and fit to your specific car.
While in community college, I usually had a few hours between classes, and since I had to commute to school, I would spend quite a lot of time in a corner booth at the local McDonalds since it had an outlet underneath the table and I was out of the way of other people. I did most of my homework there, met and became semi-familiar with the employees, and if I was there when the breakfast menu closed and the regular menu opened up, I would sometimes be offered free hash browns that would otherwise be thrown out. They really don't mind you hanging around as long as you are polite and respectful of other people's space and experience. Watching this in prep for my road trip next week to try to cut some costs if possible. Awesome content, thanks for sharing your tips!
I miss going on road trips. We used to go a lot from Texas back to Nevada. I loved the state tourist bureaus . Thy always had fun things to look at. Plus, when we traveled through the holidays, a lot had candy for the kids
We always explore the free places. One PNW road trip we found the Washington State Fish Hatchery and it was actually interesting. We like to explore National forests, arboretums and botanical gardens, as well.
When we go on a road trip we fill a jug with water and freeze it put it in a cooler and pack goodies to snack on and have drinks when the water melts or put a couple in the cooler. You can also go to a destination that has lots of FREE things to do that are fun.
I have very fond memories of taking road trips as a child, but as an adult I always get worried about the cost!! Thank u for ur tips and help.. I see a road trip coming soon!!
Great tips for road tripping! The only thing I would add is that in your research for a trip you should always check out what coupons & rewards cards you can use for attractions, food, gas etc. Happy tripping!
What a fun video! Our family of 6 loves to go on road trips as often as we can. I remember one of the first ones my husband and I we went on (pre-children), we literally ended up getting lost in a small town called Mentone that we had never heard of. But it turned out to be so fun- we ate new food, found a beautiful little stream hidden away, and spent hours just exploring the trails. The best part was that is cost us next to nothing! So I guess if I had a road trip tip it would be to never be afraid of getting a little lost because you never know what you might find along the way, and it'll probably end up being cheaper than what you had planned in the first place!
We take road trips every weekend during the Fall to my son's college football games! He plays all over New England and we are in NJ so 3 plus hour trips every time!! Can use all the tips I can get to keep the costs down!! One thing I learned is to bring a cooler with snacks and drinks so not to spend so much money !
My best road trip savings tip is to always make and bring your own food! I like to pack a cooler with tons of snacks and homemade goodies that can withstand the temperature changes. Not only does this save money, but it's definitely more convenient to have food handy whenever you're hungry!
My BFF and I love taking road trips. There are things you just learn about people while on the road that you never would otherwise. Our last trip was to Palm Springs and we had a blast- even though it was in the 120s (degrees)! Going during the hottest time of year allowed us to stay at am awesome resort with a cold pool for around $35 each per night. Total score! Oh, and we always buy food at a store when we arrive so we don’t pay the high restaurant prices. Thanks for your awesome tips! Ps- always put a couple of towels in the trunk. You never know. :)
These were some interesting and useful tips for traveling cheap. It's surprising how often we overlook the wealth of attractions which are close by to where we live. I've had a great many interesting trips within less than 100 miles from home.
Small cooler with ice. Buy premade subs at Walmart usually $5 can make meal for two people or two meals for one person bag of chips and two liter of soda living large cheap . Truck stops usually have private showers for small fee
Fun video, thanks! I also love stopping at various libraries for a break and the free WIFI. You can save your phone battery (and even charge your phone there in most cases) and use the computers on a large screen. Also, hand sanitizer is great for cleaning your underarms and feet in a pinch when you can't shower.
Even being broke you can always find deals and free things to do. Just takes a little work. Love seeing others who realize this. Made so many memories without spending a dime!!! Entered the giveaway, still enjoy watching you guys and will continue.
My wife and I have several trips planned (Wisconsin, Michigan UP, Tobermory Canada, and banff Canada) we want to take our 2 year old traveling and many more to come
You should always check all your fluid levels, tire pressure and wiper blades before a road trip. I had a wiper blade rip while on a road trip. Of course it was pouring and I was in the middle of nowhere in West Virginia.I had to pull off the road until it stopped. I also always chart my route and look for deals and coupons to save money on my .travels.
I love all of these suggestions!!! My husband and I need to take a roadtrip so bad!! We need a few nights away and this would be an amazing anniversary surprise!
Look up gas prices in cities you want to travel to and make sure to fill up at the cheapest one. Buy meat, bread, cheese, chips, snacks, drinks, and whatever else you can fit into a small cooler so you save money on food. Check your tires before leaving, pack comfy clothes, bring a charger for your phone, look up places that have free wifi if needed.
This is the first video that I’ve seen, but I am totally loving y’alls vibes and I’m glad I subscribed! As a pregnant mom of a toddler, traveling has seemed out of reach...but your tips for trips on a budget have been super helpful. Not sure if a car sleepover could work with a toddler, but maybe finding a nearby campground and squishing into a tent! That was our most recent adventure and it was a total blast!! Also, bringing along some fruit or homemade granola/bars/bread, anything that doesn’t need to be refrigerated that you can make will definitely help with the expense! Totally looking forward to watching what you come up with next!! Peace and love guys! ✌🏼🙏🏼
I love dirt cheap road trips. Isn't that the best kind? I need to head out soon with a cooler filled with sandwich fixin's, drinks, & fruit so I don't have to pay for these on the road. Saves tons of money!
i love this so much because i am always in for cheap ideas . i love how you all about that free wifi ! i always bring extra powerbanks with me , plus i use household items from food containers cereal to hide my important stuff including electronics. i am staying tune you two .
Yes, hiding your stuff is so important, safety first! Thieves are mainly opportunists and know tourists are easy targets. Love your idea of hiding things in plain sight like food containers. Hospitals, doctor's offices, hotels, libraries, malls, etc usually have free wifi that you can reach from the parking lot too, and they're used to people coming and going so they'll never bother you.
Road trips are so much fun! My tip would be to bring binoculars for the kids- they will love watching the different landscapes and it is entertainment for a while.
I don't go on many road trips. Being a single mom you don't get a chance to nor have the money but I'm I've been dying to go with my family. I'd love this.
I love road tripping with the grandkids...day trips to 3 days long..will check out your tips for use on the next one. Thanks and thank you for the giveaway will be watching your channel
Thank you for these excellent tips. I would add anticipate your items that you might need so that you do not have to go buy something that you already own, such as comb, moisturizer, sun screen, etc.
Interesting tips, thanks. We usually travel with our kids so sleeping in the car wouldn't be an option. Love your suggestion to travel more locally, though. My tip is to always pack a package of baby wipes. They come in handy for cleaning spills or hands and faces. Thanks for the tips!
Another item worth adding to your video would be to join the YMCA just so you can use the bathroom facilities (sink, hot showers, indoor pool). It's $45 per month (pp) or $60 (family). You can join at anytime and quit at anytme. You can use your membership at any YMCA across the United States.
The ending caught me off guard
Same 😂
Lmfao same!🤣

I was so happy when I heard they were Anthropologist 😂 Glad to see more of us out here 🙏🏾
Road trips are the best! Nothing better than them. Enjoying all the sights and just everything that comes along with it.

Always love a good road trip.
Roadtrips are an awesome affordable and memorable for families. Thanks for tips.
I love taking an unplanned roadtrip, but never have the money. I learned a few things from your video that will help me. Thanks
We always explore the free places. One PNW road trip we found the Washington State Fish Hatchery and it was actually interesting. We like to explore National forests, arboretums and botanical gardens, as well.
Thanks for all the tips and tricks.... as a mom to 4 these will come in handy. It’s been a couple years so a road trip would be great!
Great tips for my family road trips. Thanks for all the tips

I have very fond memories of taking road trips as a child, but as an adult I always get worried about the cost!! Thank u for ur tips and help.. I see a road trip coming soon!!
This time of year, and being a born and bred Wisconsin cheesehead, a warm, dirt cheap road trip would be sooo welcome! Happy Holidays y'all!
Great tips for road tripping! The only thing I would add is that in your research for a trip you should always check out what coupons & rewards cards you can use for attractions, food, gas etc. Happy tripping!
Great tips for a thrifty road trip. I agree there are often many fun things to do near you home. Take advantage of the many day trips in your area.

Hi
I think it's fun & offers pros & cons on how to have a nice time on the road.
Took a road trip in college to Florida to spring break but never really just driven to drive and have an adventure. Would love to do this
Always enjoyed driving the roads of America.
Awesome tips! We enjoy checking out towns not so far from home.

Freeze water bottles for your cooler and when they thaw you can drink them. Great dance moves!
Those are some great tips. I have made the mistake of not factoring in the parking fee. D'oh!! Free wifi rocks ;)
