    Love the new format Jason. I know it maybe hard to keep getting BG^2 week after week, but they’re SO good and insightful. I miss the business and tech focus from the All-In show, and this is exactly what I want. I suspect the same for others as well. Thank you!

    Having @Jason as a regular on BG2 would be highly beneficial. His strength lies in voicing or inquiring about topics others often shy away from, a crucial aspect for extracting key questions on the show. This was exemplified in the Uber episode, where Jason’s incisive questioning truly shone.

    Jason, Congratulations. You are a genuine innovator. And it is a joy to see you rising and rising. An angel investor not only in the financial sense. You are providing angel support for the marketing of others. Expressing them (both here and with All In) as “besties”, you also showcase what true friendship means.

    You forgot to ask Dara why does Uber charge customers surge and doesn’t pass the surge to the drivers?
    Why didn’t you ask about the upfront pay not disclosing that they won’t get the surge that Uber is charging passengers?
    Uber is a sinking ship if they think they will continue to take more than 50 percent of fares from its drivers.
    And why didn’t you ask why Dara continues to lie about drivers earning 32 an hour?
    Softball questions does nothing for the drivers

      UBER is the technology of the past - a middleman with no solution for the future - NO INNOVATIONS in the last 5-7 years, THEY STOCK - Uber start making money only because they taking an UNREASONABLE 50% cut from share paying crap to drivers - corrupting politicians and killing all comparators. We will remember them like Pagers or Nokia.

    Dara, California Uber Black drivers are providing their own commercial insurance (Cost Drivers on average $950 per month) and Uber is taking 40% of the passengers price. If Uber’s take rate is 20% then you have web hosting (1.5%), merchant services (3.5%) and Government/airport fees (5%). Where is the rest of the 10% of the passengers price going?

    Jason the NAR/ National Association of Realtors is NOT the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REAL ESTATE......This is the second time I have heard you not get the name right and complain about Realtors. You are uninformed at best. A Realtor is not the same as a licensed real estate agent. These men - a bunch of billionaires who don't know squat about real estate, and are always complaining (Jason), clearly don't understand the value of a good agent ~ who can typically negotiate with the buyer's agent to get the seller an extra 100k. Please understand that the agent only gets a $2,500 increase in commission but the seller gets 100K more! I am retired so no skin in the game. I would never try to negotiate a VC deal. Egomania. Icarus....

    Why don’t we talk about drivers how this company rips drivers off taking 50 to 60% of a rides and not providing anything other than access to an app this company has stopped paying bonuses whatsoever. It’s absolutely a joke drivers a drive for this company make bare minimum money, and pay out gas vehicle maintenance Tires oil changes and everything and the company provides barely nothing yeah they have a center programs if you accept 70% of their rides or more but they rides don’t pay anything. They want you to go 30 miles for $10 at the most that’s $.50 a mile, sometimes less than that you can’t make money at $.50 a mile with your fuel car payments car insurance, tires, etc. etc. etc. and then take home a profit for yourself at the end of the day is crazy. This guy running this company is a nut job. It’s all about bottom lineinvestors screw the drivers. Stop using Uber please

  • @chunkymonkeymedia2331
    @chunkymonkeymedia2331 2 месяца назад

    Yeah, you know when you listen to these guys that are running this company or invested in this company they have no sympathy for drivers none whatsoever. They always talk about bottom line and how much they have to spend to win or not win or we’re gonna spend it until we die, blah blah, blah blah blah, but you know what that translates to it translates to screwing everybody they can to make a profit, counting the drivers most of all cutting cost cutting bonuses cutting rates for the drivers you know they need to stipulate how much they take from a driver on every trip it used to be 45% now it’s like 60%. I had a driver that charged $60 to go 60 miles because they claimed that the drivers run strike, yeah the drivers were on strike last Valentine’s Day 2024. This was months after the so-called strike he got charged $60 to go 10 miles when he asked Uber why is it so high they stated because of the strike I took that ride that’s why I know what happened. I got paid $24 and some change so they made 30+ dollars I made $24, this is a joke once they lose all of their drivers because of the path they have taken maybe they will rethink their business plan. This is so crazy. I cannot believe Uber has turned upside down to make profit and please their shareholders you better wake up your drivers are the ones that make your company money not your shareholders and not your CEO that makes a hell of a salary. I’m sure, you start thinking about your drivers the ones that do the work
