I don't know who you are sir, but that was the most satisfying review I have ever seen that I did not search for. No BS, no music, wasn't needed. The camera work, editing and sounds produced was music to my ears and eyeballs 😊
I bought this mitre saw in June 2014, and I remodeled my basement with it. It it sturdy and it works great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxKL3MYO42eA2JbKxs7_Q0tmRGZI4Ow4Ar . There's not a lot of extra play in the adjustments and it is definitely well built. It is lighter than higher-end sliding double bevel models, so I can move it myself, which is nice. When I had to cut 2x10 lumber, I had to flip the boards over and cut twice; but since most of my cutting was on smaller dimension lumber, the weight reduction and significantly lower price seemed to be a better trade off for the boards I did have to flip. Late in the project, I was able to borrow a DW718, and the sliding feature does make fast work of 2x10s, but it is a tank, and I stand by my choice of the DW715. I also added a laser guide (one of the arbor replacement style sold on Amazon), which is nice to have, but definitely not needed.
I have the younger brother of this saw, and it is the best tool in my workshop. It cuts perfectly at 90 degrees and the stops are also spot on at 45 degrees in either direction. I didn't have to calibrate it. My only tip is don't cut wet wood. The saw dust clumps together and will clog up the laser. You can obviously fix this problem, but rather just cut dry wood.
First of all, if this had been any manufacturer but Bosch or Ryobi, I would not have got past the outside of the box. This is very well thought out as a job saw. I am surprised there is not a toggle on the switch between miter and table saw functions. It certainly seems out of the box accurate and very adjustable. Also, it has a nice long electric plug cord'
Nah, I am a general contractor and I disagree. You have to lock it into place with the miter attachment to use it as a table saw. If you install flooring for a living do you want to have to keep switching it back and forth? Nah you want to set up ready to roll. More gimmick than functionality.
Supreme Remodel & Design I was talking about for a diyer. I did my grandmas house last month. And I was using my table saw and miter saw for the flooring. It just sucks having to lug all the tools around. I just do diy stuff now. But I was doing stuff like that living and had a truck fully load out for it. But now anytime I help a family member out or a friend. I gotta load up the truck. Makes me wish I still had my old truck. I even had a miller gas power welder mounted in it for gate and fence repairs. But yeah for straight out professional use. You want them to be separate. I will agree with you on that. But for diy it’s great for space saving and mobility.
I have reviewed this video, several times. The content is excellent. I have been convinced that for my small workshop this type of unit is the correct choice.
While I would never get this... It's silly that so many people are capping on this. It's clearly aimed at flooring installers, which this is perfect for. Just look at their pics. It's almost all flooring related. If that's all I did, this it almost a perfect jobsite tool.
I bought this machine late last year. It performs way better than I expected! Accuracy is excellent, even the fence is spot on. I use it for timber but mostly for aluminium (yes I'm not in the USA, I'm in South Africa and that's how we say it here) Settings are accurate and repeatable. Yes it is heavy but it is rigid and trips to the job site don't disturb its accuracy. I have not wished for a wider table when on site Like my other Bosch equipment, this machine is not scared of work!
I literally just got home from a garage sale with a chop saw and a table saw and this pops up in my recommended RUclips IS LISTENING TO ME AND MOCKING ME

People are responding as if it’s meant to replace a table saw and mother saw in a fine woodworking shop. That’s clearly not the intent here. Flooring contractors and deck builders could really use this. They’re always working on-site, often for multiple days, and the majority of the material they use is well within the rio capacity of this saw. They’re already caring a chop saw in and out, possibly every day, so it’s added function to a tool they’re already use. Being able to rio down boards for edging and edge conditions is great added functionality.
Finally someone who understands the broader scope. People are narrow and short-sighted. Anyone who is complaining about the price of this tool is obviously not a professional in the trades. You have to spend money to make money. And if this is a daily-use tool for you, then it should be an obvious choice.
YOU GOT IT !! If you are installing real hardwood floors 99.99% of the work is going to be boards no wider than a 1x4. The vast majority of what I installed in the 90s was 2-1/4” strip flooring with the occasional 3 1/4” floor. Even random width width tops out at 8”. This is the perfect flooring saw.
One of the problems is accually how to control the blade, and im thinking of a motorized mechanism to move the miter saw up and down and make the base modular so i can remove it from the table and use it as a normal miter saw. Once i finish my design i might share it with u guys!
I purchased one of these in May 2019 and love it. Very useful combination saw for various model making/mould making applications as well as DIY and working onsite and on set. Why? I mean...it's made for those that need a combination. Of course if you do a lot of work and have enough space for two machines you can always buy them separate. Here are two good ones from Bosch: amzn.to/2Z0HEDF amzn.to/3hO0MNH
Insane Builds the capacity is so limited that it makes more sense to buy them separately so that you can do more than chop 2x4s and rip popsicle sticks.
I can see someone not bolting down the saw and pushing it off the table when the go to cut a sheet of plywood that's too big for the saw. If I had endless cash I would buy one but it wouldn't replace my table saw.
Looks like a great tool for small trim jobs , like a bathroom guy. Definitely nice for flooring. Obviously not for crown, kitchens or cabinetry. But a great all around on the truck chopper with table built in. Nice idea.
I don't get why people dislike the video. It says "unboxing and test" and delivers exactly that. If you don't like the device, go dislike Bosch or just don't buy it, why the f dislike a perfect video?
Most people probably think I'm advertising in or selling it. If you look at the comments you can clearly see that. But it still gets a great deal of positive feedback. Probably because every unboxing channel on youtube is actually everything else than real unboxing. The purpose of my unboxing videos is that everyone gets to see what comes in the package and then I show basic functions of these products. No talking needed. Thanks for your sincere comment, I appreciate it.
I can see how useful this would be. I don't have a mitre saw as they take up too much space, and I would only ever use it for compound mitres, and my table saw doubles as an assembly table, so s little tool like this would fill the gap nicely. I love Bosch tools, but this is just a bit too expensive to get to the top of my shopping list. Good video, though. Thanks for making the effort
It’s a flooring tool. If you’ve ever installed real full-thickness hardwood you’d know that you are dragging around a small tablesaw and a chopsaw from room to room and you use them while on your knee pads 99% of the time. It sucks. This is absolutely the answer. The only thing that would be better, a high powered battery version. I would have paid almost anything for this tool 30 yrs ago when I was doing tons of hardwood floors.

use the red pushy thing otherwise fingers will be red but not pushy anymore believe me things can kick for no reason. You've convinced me to buy one, I do window repairs and been waiting for a decent combo to be available again as long cuts on smaller timbers ideal for this machine instead of track saw. There's only so much gear one can carry to site all the time. Shame it doesn't do +45 degrees on the compound angle. Thanks for demo and gorgeous cat.
I'm pretty surprised how good this thing is built and engineerd. This Combination saw is perfect for on-site work. It features miter saw and table saw in one package. The table saw depth is adjustable. Consider subscribing if you want more tool unboxing videos and building cool stuff.
Pozdrawiam.
I had a combination mitre saw a few years ago (sadly it was stolen) from Virutex, extremely popular brand between carpenters in Spain. Downsides were: very painful to carry around, everything would hit you, corners of the table, it would hit your knees and legs if you were to carry it grabbing from the handle..., It was heavy and the table saw had a ripping capacity of just about 5 inches and a quarter or so. It was also quite uncomfortable when using the mitresaw as the table would get in the way not allowing you to see what you're cutting. An absolute pain. I now use a Makita 12" sliding on a Makita stand beam and a Bosch plunge saw, be acquiring a smaller sliding compound mitresaw when I decide which one. With the arrival of track saws I see combination mitre saws have lost all interest, that's for work on site, for the hobbyist it can perhaps be attractive.
Nice job on the demo- I like the idea - and I’m sure it is convenient for floor guys- but I’ll stick with separate tools myself. Not sure why - but having to turn the blade off when used as the miter saw really presents a problem for me... don’t quite feel safe- probably just me tho. How much is this machine anyway?? Be safe out there.
The wave of the future! what is the cost? I have Bosch 12" dual compound miter on a gravity stand and Bosch table saw on a gravity stand. That is easy $1400. Although they can work in larger applications. Still this saw would not be bad for smaller use.
What an interesting product. I can see how it could be really useful for the right person - although I prefer mine separate since I work in a shop and not on a jobsite and I do a lot of work with larger pieces for which this is not really well suited. Very innovative though. If I were a trim carpenter working on site, this would be a fantastic tool to have.
@@mikecoughlin4128 In the modern world the majority of miter saws are just that, miter saws. The term Chop saw is almost always only used to describe metal cutting saws. That being said many people call them chop saws and while it is technically wrong, it isn’t the end of the world.
Pretty soon all you'll have to buy is 1 big box tool. Will have a router, chopsaw, tablesaw, planer, joiner, sander, lathe and drill press plus slots for any other attachment you can think of.
They already have it, they are just waiting for people to buy this one; then they’ll release the one you’re talking about. It’s like the IPhones, they already have the iPhone 20, but they sell us first the 11-19 first.
Yeah thats the only problem I have with this machine. It would be good to have a trigger and when you're done you just release it and it stops, like a normal miter saw. Instead you have to manually press the off button to stop the blade.
Looks cool, but has limited use . Seems under powered or maybe it’s that blade is a slow cut. I’ll stick with the separate tools that offer way more capabilities.
mam podobne urządzenie (Graphite 59G801) i też trochę waży.
This saw is neat and I imagine probably really good for flooring installers but I can't see much use for it anywhere else. It lacks critical features on both the miter saw and table saw functions. Not to mention the glaring safety issue of having switched power on the miter saw. That should be on a trigger always.
They tried doing these 8-10 years ago and idk why they never caught on. Seems like there was a lot of excitement, but I could see how people wouldn't want to lift their table saw table for every miter cut or even 10 crosscuts with a stop. And you're going to have come up with something bigger to cut bigger stuff. Maybe build your own custom table/workbench.

I like the concept, but its not a good replacement for a dedicated chop saw and table saw. The capacity is significantly limited by the design of it.
Ya defiantly handy man, home owner or small jobs. But cant beat not having to drag in two saws and two tables if you don't have to.
Chop saw is a straight cut only. I think you meant compound miter saw because it does 45deg left and right plus top to bottom.
@@mikecoughlin4128 you know I never realized there was a difference till now. Makes a ton of sense tho.
@@mikecoughlin4128 In the modern world the majority of miter saws are just that, miter saws. The term Chop saw is almost always only used to describe metal cutting saws. That being said many people call them chop saws and while it is technically wrong, it isn’t the end of the world.
Why can’t all reviews be like this........nice and simple and to the point........no Hollywood wannabes trying to audition
Thank you for your sincere feedback!
It seems to be more for construction specifically framework and wooden floors
Two in one ( Miter saw & Table saw ) that will be perfect for any workshop . thank you for explanations on video .
Glad it was helpful to you.

Yes it is . Thank you for your kindly reply 🌷
This looks like a pretty nifty tool, this is the first time i saw it and it looks like it will be a great addition to my little workplace.

Pretty soon all you'll have to buy is 1 big box tool. Will have a router, chopsaw, tablesaw, planer, joiner, sander, lathe and drill press plus slots for any other attachment you can think of.
Hi Josh LAYON on RUclips
I will hold off until they release the 4 in 1 miter/table saw/drill press/router bench model next year 😉😉😉😅
Shopsmith
They already have it, they are just waiting for people to buy this one; then they’ll release the one you’re talking about. It’s like the IPhones, they already have the iPhone 20, but they sell us first the 11-19 first.
ja60123 I had a Shopsmith for years before I had the money to buy separate tools. I built a roll-top desk with it. Great starter tool.
Looks like it would be awesome for a punch list type application, I would need to see for myself about being a full time saw

Maravilloso equipo,Felicidades.
Cuanto cuesta,podrías darnos una idea..
En amazon España 328€
I think it's cool. Its ideal for those tight on space and doing limited diy work. The only gripe is that in mitre mode the blade is not grip operated.
Yeah thats the only problem I have with this machine. It would be good to have a trigger and when you're done you just release it and it stops, like a normal miter saw. Instead you have to manually press the off button to stop the blade.

very good
Daaaaaam what a BEAUTIFUL machine great video too I like the way you showed us everything it does
Looks cool, but has limited use . Seems under powered or maybe it’s that blade is a slow cut. I’ll stick with the separate tools that offer way more capabilities.
i like this review, no words. the product speaks for itself.
Thank you. Glad you like it.

mam podobne urządzenie (Graphite 59G801) i też trochę waży.
If it were a slider also they would sell a ton of these. Didn’t know this existed til 10 mins. ago. Be awesome for a trim guy.
This is some 1980’s level gimmick right here.
And some 80's level injection molded plastic too.
Great demo!!! 👍 But what happened to the rooster’s crow @5:29?😂😂😂
This is a good saw for the jobsite. Thats the only positive I see about it
Or if you have a very tiny shed that you work in where space is a premium

Amazing , updated highly , I like this saw v.much , 👍bosch
That table looks pretty small for a conventional job site.
Something like that would probably be great for flooring jobs when a larger job site table and miter saw isn't needed.
Exactly what I thought
This saw is neat and I imagine probably really good for flooring installers but I can't see much use for it anywhere else. It lacks critical features on both the miter saw and table saw functions. Not to mention the glaring safety issue of having switched power on the miter saw. That should be on a trigger always.
Awesome! Looks worth the weight. Just throw it on a rolling collapsible stand. Trigger for miter would be nice though.
Que Máquina magnífica... Um grande investimento. E o seu gato é parecido com o meu!🐱

Josh LAYON
that's fantastic peace of kit.
Yesss
Esta súper genial, Bosh se la rifo. Eso se lo voy a pedir a los reyes!!! X))
