I love this fight so much. Not because Sol lost, really he's my favorite arcsystem creation and in my top 3 favorite characters period, buy just what it revealed about these characters. Let's be real, strength, power whatever didn't have much to do with it, but the mental working of these characters was shown. Sol purposely pissing Ky off to get a real fight to the death or at least something resembling of one. Something that will force him to try and put effort. Which shows that even in the light of enemies such as Justice, Dizzy, I-no, Judgement, Leopaldeon, Valentine, Ramlethal, Jack-o, and Arelis. He never has to try and just muscled through. Which worked cause his physical and supernatural prowess is immense and still growing. Ky, a human (a damn powerful one in his own right and maybe more now) who has been fighting against beings like Sol, has time tactics like deceit and cunning to survive. Battlefield techniques that have nothing to do with winning a fight but serving a war, and he became damn good at them. Mastered them. Unlike his bouts with Sol, which were that bouts which I belive he did go all out on. To honorable to not to, plus Sol's death was never his attention. So to see KY overwhelmed Sol was a look to the Ky of the holy war and his hyper vigilance tactics. To have Sol wanting o fight and learn how to fight was him accepting that his powers and physical ability will not stand to Asuka. It his strange way of accepting the fact that he needs and asking for it. This why I love this fight.
15:25 I love it. Ky was having a full on crisis over the prospect of having to talk to Sol about their family dynamics, but then he noticed that Sol wanted to fight, and was like "Oh god thank you... that I can deal with".
This and Devil May Cry are the only video game series I can think of where I want to see a TV show about what's going on when video game worthy plots aren't happening
Now this duel make sense why Sol didn't have the Dragon Install in Strive, he is now trying to learn how to fight tactically and not being a gorilla as that would be a sure way to get killed by Asuka. Meanwhile Ky uses the Dragon Install because he needs more firepower as he didn't want to repeat what happened in their fight with Ariels where he cant do anything because they were fighting monsters (he was only suited for human sized enemies).
Things that I expect in strive story mode with aria: - Sol acting a bit goofy and awkward in her presence (the type of guy who can't refuse anything she wants) - Aria finally meeting her Child and Grandchild (which she will insist that Sin calls him neesan.) - Ky being stressed that her mother in law looks younger than him. - her bonking Asuka and Sol to cut their shit out on beating the crap of each other. - Aria being pissed that Sin was half assed everything about his growth due to Sol but she gets more pissed when she learns that Sol only gives sugar water to Sin.

Ky's family shenanigans are funny, but can we talk about that conversation between Asuka and Raven at the beginning? Because DAMN they're really making me feel bad for the kinky bird man
I like how Ky is the king of a holy order of knights that operate under the pope, but all of his immediate family members dress like they work in a strip club
21:20 i JUST realized, could this be referring to Ky's dragon install in Strive? Was Sol actually right about Ky holding back? I didnt realize the possibility here
A lot of people would say that Sol is stronger than Ky, and I'd probably agree, but that doesn't matter as much as you'd expect when Ky's been killing things stronger than he is since he joined the Sacred Order of Holy Knights... when he was ten years old.
It's hard to say at the moment considering Sol never has gone all out before. Although, Sol is well aware of how strong Ky is and was scared of him during the Crusades because of it. And then there's also Ky possessing Gear cells as well which makes it hard to say how strong Ky is now too.
The thing is that if we put both characters on a power level, Sol wins, he has an almost absurd amount of power on his true form... but he does not know how to fight, he literally brute forces his enemies, and that is what he wants to learn from Ky on this episode, how someone with less power can win against a stronger opponent.

If you've never done it before, add a pinch of salt to hot chocolate milk sweetened with honey and vanilla extract. It's a heavenly treat.
Ky's family shenanigans are funny, but can we talk about that conversation between Asuka and Raven at the beginning? Because DAMN they're really making me feel bad for the kinky bird man
BAD IDEA!
daughter or not, no one messes with his waifu!
I like how Ky is the king of a holy order of knights that operate under the pope, but all of his immediate family members dress like they work in a strip club
Ah yes, mini skirt= stripper
Exposed stomach= stripper
Eh they are more dressed like schoolgirls then anything
They running on that JoJo fashion sense logic

Correct.
Midriff + skirt = strippah, especially in ANZ :D

*JA, SATO MIZU.*
SATO MIZU?
21:20 i JUST realized, could this be referring to Ky's dragon install in Strive? Was Sol actually right about Ky holding back? I didnt realize the possibility here
Nope, he gained that long after the Crusades, between AC and Overture.
A lot of people would say that Sol is stronger than Ky, and I'd probably agree, but that doesn't matter as much as you'd expect when Ky's been killing things stronger than he is since he joined the Sacred Order of Holy Knights... when he was ten years old.

Sol messed with Ky's waifu, he got the knaifu
Heh, I totally forgot that they teased G4 in this After Story. Looks like they had this storyline setup for a while.

I don't know a damn of this game but the first conversation was precious
I never knew Ky was actually canonically stronger than Sol. I always thought it was the other way around.
It's hard to say at the moment considering Sol never has gone all out before. Although, Sol is well aware of how strong Ky is and was scared of him during the Crusades because of it. And then there's also Ky possessing Gear cells as well which makes it hard to say how strong Ky is now too.
Sol also actively limits his power. Realistically I think an all out sol is stronger than Ky by a long shot but also probably not sol anymore.
The thing is that if we put both characters on a power level, Sol wins, he has an almost absurd amount of power on his true form... but he does not know how to fight, he literally brute forces his enemies, and that is what he wants to learn from Ky on this episode, how someone with less power can win against a stronger opponent.
Wouldn’t say stronger just a better fighter
Sol with the headband more specifically but kinda? Sol with the headband is still stronger than Ky in power but he's not as tactical

Sol’s that one weird but cool uncle at the barbecue
23:12 I Hope with Ky's new install super in STRIVE, we get moves like this. Ky was absolute beast mode here⚡⚡
Fingers crossed for Aces High (vertical RTL)🤞🏿
We have any confirmation? That picture of Ky with his red eye in the scan of Famitsu is indeed an "install super"?

We've got stun dipper.
When Ky put those bits of his sword in Sol's eyes. I honestly think that's just plain dirty!
It's call tactics
*POCKET SAND*
That's the point. Ky couldn't win in a straight-up fight against a Gear, so he had to learn to play dirty.
@@gyppygirl2021 yeah I get what your talking about but I would've rather preferred a fair fight between them. I know Ky can hold his own, even in a fair fight.
@@A-Champ Well Sol wanted serious fight not a fair fight.
