    What is the plate thickness?

    Is there a reason for the gap in the plates you were welding? Really new TIG welder here.

    I'm trying to learn, by myself, and for feedback to you guys, as teachers, I would:
    1. This is the thickness of the material
    2. Which means we set to x Amps
    3. We are using Y torch
    4. It is (air cooled or water cooled)
    5. Yes, you covered gas 20 CFH thank you for that
    6. Size of tungsten
    7. Grind angle
    8. If water cooled, what coolant, flow rate, and quick shot of the cooler,
    Course, I can see you have a cooler in the shot, barely, but for us little guys, we have to really think about IF we want to buy the cooler or not.

    Why "161hz" and not 160 or 155 or whatever?

    • @JackOffAllTrades
      @JackOffAllTrades Год назад

      I'd really like to see an answer to this question. The lack of an answer suggests that he has no idea or real reason for that setting. The weld will go in nicely from 50hz to 250hz. Pretty sure he just feels like setting it there, so he does. If there was a concrete reason for it, he would hopefully explain that.
