Fear Combat is a multiplayer component of F.E.A.R. -First Encounter Assault Recon. It was released for free and it's avaliable over the internet on many sites, ftp's, and on bittorrent network.This film was recorded with Xfire, than edited in MovieMaker to increase brightness. The map i was playing on was Docs.
System requirements:
Windows XP/2000 with Service Packs
Pentium 4 1.7 GHz or equivalent
512 MB RAM
5 GB hard disk space
DirectX 9.0-compliant sound card
64 MB GeForce 4 Ti or Radeon 9000 or equivalent with hardware T&L and PS

This was the best multiplayer experience I have ever had to date. Miss this game so much.

Thx alot! i'm glad You liked it! It's just a gameplay from one map, i think i should put more maps, weapons, and alot of things that are great in this game. I spent playing FEAR aloooot hours in my life, and i think this is one of the best fps games. Gives tons of adrenaline, especially when You exercise alot and achive some skill. It has also fantastic community all over the world, some playing it since it has been released to this days ;) ps. sry for my English

Great memories: I would put the sticky grenades on teammates and ask them run in amongst the bad guys, then detonate!
aaaah... those were the days when this was released for free... I think it was back in 2006

This game's multiplayer was surprisingly great. Some of the fastest and most intense shooter multi out there.

PnP had some of the COOLEST maps. I played every single day with those guys. Such a great game and free too. This game got everything right at the time from weapons, melee and maps.

@vioniribu I play on two servers: MRSA slowmo server - for lower skill with super weapons an urestricted medkits, and RAW recruits TDM - for high skill - Freindly fire enabled, medkits restricted for one, no super weapons. Those srvers are almost always full.

I see combat used the health drop system as fear files did with the injectors instead of health packs.

@markedone150 If i remember not. But if you install orginal FEAR you can play multiplayer like combat. It's the same.
@Ryan432120 as is clearly stands in description "...Fear Combat is a multiplayer component of F.E.A.R. ..." So FEAR 1 multiplayer is FEAR Combat, as FEAR Combat is an multiplaye of FEAR 1. So FEAR Combat is FEAR 1 but without Songle player campaign. I hope it's clear now for you. Cheers

@bloodernax just read description, there are requirements. But when i was starting to play it 4 years ago, i played on very poor PC and it worked. But on lowest settings though.

@dekerfertelfer I reload it, or i "holster weapon" to run quicker. It is one of esential skills to holster weapon, run quick for med kits and armor. But if you get caught with holstered weapon, than you got fragged or u can use unarmed attack ;D

@JeffhardyEXtream You need to update with 1.08 patch. Just download it. All the servers have updated, so you have to update to there version to play on them.
Make sure it matches the same version as your country FEAR COMBAT version or it might not work.
@defcalledque No scares, instead, straight up action shooting. It's not Counterstrike, it's something far more challenging.

Do u have to put a scope on the gun to have sittings or it comes regular. NICE game i might download i will subscribe if u answer.
It take some time to "learn" it, because you have a lot of tactics, like: unarmed attacks, running, few kinds of grenades etc. But trust me. If you get in to it, you'll be addicted. It gave me tons of adrenaline, and also people who play that game are very nice. Of course that game "died" long time ago. But few years ago that game was awesome.
@lnwreal3 aaah, i call it "full-auto" and yes its click and hold but there is recoil so you must work your mouse to avoid recoil. Only game where i dont spray (and only on far distance) is CSS

I downloaded it, installed it, got key. No servers.
I installed gamespy and it finds servers for it but when I launch from GS it doesn't throw me right into the games it just launches the game. Is there a setting or something I'm missing that lists all the servers?

just read description, it's only multiplayer part of the game. If you want single player you got to purchase it, but since FEAR 2 was released, i thing it would be good choice for try.

@paszag i ment maximum game quality (also there was no 1080p when i uploaded this) But you are right. There's no soft shadows, and i also could play it in 2048x1536 (max of my CRT) But ok ... leave some space for better ones. Great someone watch it :P

@fppgames the only problem is that i cant update game to 1.08 so most of the servers wont be avaliable,but now im done combat needed dvd key that goes with original fear so i dont know why some guys says that Combat needs some special cd keys.if u have original fear with dvd key itll work fine like mine

@skater33412 According to system requirements, it requires 5 GB. But on my hard disk it takes 3,5 GB.

@Deleejay Only if you install Coop Warfare Mod. But this is not exactly "playing with bots".
This game is BEAST I'm astonished it's free! Hard to play on a laptop though lol.

@TINEYBRUZZER No. xfire is simply a useful tool to use in games. you can take screenshots, take videos, even surf the web while in a game full screen. You can also talk to other xfire users even if they are in another game, and see how many fps you're getting.
Ignoring the above explanation of xfire, NO, it is NOT necessary.
@nomeladestrocen Almost 2 Gb, but you need to download the 1.08 patch to play most of the matches.

@xXUndeadShadow166Xx Wow! I was thinking about that, since i use FF4 and IE9 i thought it could be the issue. Since i use my cd key for 5 years now i don't need that, but some people who would like to play can use that. Please tell us what browser did you use and maybe what java version. HF!
Its still alive and even just finished a 4 vs 4 tournament. They issued new cd keys you ca get free online.. I think the website is "fearcommunity" or something like that. Just google it.

@AidanChaos The fact that you can't get cd-key doesn't mean that this game is bullshit. It was released six years ago, blame that.
