I really like how you show the local environments, the specific treatment you are having, and when you follow them up with grabbing some local food nearby, it is most enjoyable and informative.
It's not really strange, it's just that he's not afraid to travel to uncommon places, interact with the locals & he's crazy enough to try new things that most people wouldn't. What you're interpreting as strange is actually closer to living life like we're supposed to. You would get a much better sense of this in the videos with his Mom. She is an awesome travel buddy, positive, extremely nice & funny as hell (even though she's not intending to be, which just makes it even funnier!). In all honesty when I 1st stumbled across his videos I wondered how in the hell does he not have his own travel show on Discovery! I've learned a ton from just watching these. I've seen places I would never have thought to visit etc. For example, I learned that in Mexico, especially Mexico City, nice dress shoes are a big deal & that's why there are shoe shiners everywhere.
I fell asleep during the Malaysian guy's Indian massage. But I'm back in the saddle again for some more! Truly a cowboy, here! Struck me that you might be the most relaxed fellow there is making a living out of being taken care of in a variety of ways! Ride on!
