That was a very informative video showing just what a good 3D printer is now. 3D printing is a mystery to me even now. I hope to continue to learn more through your videos and sitting next to you!
Another great video James, nice comparison of printers and cool prints too. Especially those tooned Nissans.. wow both look amazing with all those pieces! 👍🏼👍🏼
Very cool Models James. I love my 3 ultra. I gotta go check out that TT kit. I still haven't printed the Aston Martin Valor i bough or the Ariel Atom ... one of these days...
I still havent printed anything on my Saturn 4. Im trying to do all my basic learning on the Voxelab. Thanks for sharing all this printing stuff. Ive learned a lot from these videos. (And failed miserably too 😂)
Audi has incredible details, just subscribed to his cults page, and Tuner I'm already subscribed he has cool stuff and awesome wheels, thats a cool tuner car 😊❤
3DVM does really nice work. I bought his Audi TT coupe first then had to buy the Alpine and now the Roadster. Only one I don’t have (yet) is his Porsche 992. Tuner kits is amazing in its fit and function. You’d never believe that the kits are snap together. I’ll have fun painting the drift car! Thanks for watching Aussie Bud, I appreciate you man!
Me thinks JT has another new hobby! Very interesting stuff for sure! Dang the details are amazing! Valve stems no way man! Those look like something to step on , ouch! This stuff came out 20 years late for me! No more new hobbies! 😇👍🏻🏆🫡🇺🇸
Hey Kevin, it’s insane the amount of detail that can be printed now. The resin printed kits are getting better and more detailed every day. I do hear you, this is another hobby for sure!
Good difference between the printers I like that those cartoon jdm cars come as a full kit not just body with the wheels added but yeah great video James, 👍👍hope you had a great xmas. Hope wish you and family a happy new year 👍👍, Keith
Hi Terry, it works pretty good. I do turn on my paint booth while I’m printing to evacuate any fumes in the room. I wouldn’t have one in my office next to me while I work.
I've bought two 3 ultras, because it's a proven quality and I really enjoy resolution. It's night and day comparing with 2K printer I've used to have. 43 scale looks like 24 in detils. In the future, with more comments about 4, it's going to be more clear.
I’ve been using the 3 more than the 4 lately because it’s easier to WiFi transfer the files. They both print awesome. My first machine was a 4k so I know what you mean.
So i just bought a saturn 3 ultra Have no clue I found files on cult But don't remember seeing that body where else can I look I'm interested in what I would call aftermarket parts and stuff for my boats and motorcycle parts I bought mine used Hoping for the best Got resin ,bags ,gloves ,film ,alchaol wash and dry station for 250 Any advice would be greatly appreciated James Thanks ✌️
Sounds to me like you got a good deal for $250. Check the links that I put in the comments for the two I showcased. I like to use search words like Tamiya Aoshima and Hasegawa for kit specific parts. Engines, wheels and such I have no clue how to find them.
The Saturn 3 actually has a taller build volume of 260mm opposed to the Saturn 4's 220mm due to the 4's plate design which is not auto leveling that's just market hype.
I apologize for the misinformation. You are right, the Saturn 3 Ultra can print taller things because the auto leveler isn't in the way. BUT, I have never leveled the 4...
although different machines and atmospheres have different settings, I use a 2.4 sec exposure time with 30 second bottom layer. 2 bottom layers, 8 transitional layers and print at .025 resolution.
I have a couple filament printers and a revo 3d scanner already need to up my game with a resin printer might get 2 but tough to choose. You seem happy with this product seems most go mono instead of RGB bed, is there much of a difference in how they work, what's the advantages of mono well most say tge screen print bed lasts longer , these are sensitive to UV daylight as well. I'm curious if it comes with a UV light seems thats optional ?
I think that mono is the way to go since it is only flashing a single color onto the screen to cure a layer. The curing machine is a seperate purchase. I've been using the same one for almost 2 years now.
@ScaleModelExperiment yea, from what I've read, mono is the one most choose ty for the information. I have 2 filament printers, currently the Kobra Maxx big one and one other a bit smaller.
G'day James i see a lot of 3d printing videos but they never show you how long to cure them in a curing station. I'm not sure if they are out there but if you could show how long you cure your 3d prints in the anycubic would be much appreciate. Regards Egg
I don’t think it makes a difference. I cure mine for 8 mins on one side flip the pieces and do 5 more. As long as they are dry and clean I think they are safe afterwards.
I enjoy Elegoo’s 8k resin line. My favorite colors are Vanilla and White Smoke. I like the lighter colors because they can easily be painted lighter colors without a ton of white primer.
@ScaleModelExperiment I may get 1 of each model the 3 and 4 what UV curing light you using ? I'm sure it's mentioned on your channel but it's easier to ask. I'm sure any of them will work, the air ventilation seems like a smart idea resin stinks like spray paint.
My first machine was an Anycubic Mono X2. I bought the wash and cure to go with it and still use it with my Elegoo machine. The plate doesn’t fit inside the machine so I have to remove the parts first.
AUDIE kit looked great too I'm a speedster roadster tye super car lover I'd prefer porsche speedster over hard top if u know what I'm trying to say I say porsche cause that is brand car in sports cars ike lámbos and ferraries I love them all but porsche comes first and as not convertable eather targa top glass top or speedster I'm actually thinking of doing something speedster soon I downloaded the GUNTER WERKS SPEEDSTER piece with engine cover which holds spoiler.. Just idea.. But Audie reminded cause it was convertable cool job james, 👍

I’m happy to share Pat, it’s all so interesting to me and when I learn something I can’t wait to share it.
Great video James, amazing detail on the Audi and toon cars. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Juan, I'm glad that you enjoyed what I've printed with the new printer.
Them little toon carz are awesome.
Aren’t they cool? They have 5 different cars in the series and are making more all the time. I’ll buy them all because I’m an idiot like that.
Enjoyed, love how you said I had to print another 1 😂 awesome 👌 Cheers 🍻🇦🇺🦘🪃🤝🇺🇸🍻🍻
It’s an addiction man!
@ScaleModelExperiment absolutely 💯 % it is, but better than drugs 🤣 you have something to show for it, and can keep printing them 😉 😀 👍
Another great video James, nice comparison of printers and cool prints too. Especially those tooned Nissans.. wow both look amazing with all those pieces! 👍🏼👍🏼
I thought that you might like the Tooned cars Karl. Thanks for watching bud. Looking forward to another year of great vids from you.
Very cool Models James. I love my 3 ultra. I gotta go check out that TT kit. I still haven't printed the Aston Martin Valor i bough or the Ariel Atom ... one of these days...
Ohhh, the Ariel Atom from Olivizzle? That’s another I need to print someday! Thanks for watching bud, I appreciate your support 👍
I still havent printed anything on my Saturn 4. Im trying to do all my basic learning on the Voxelab. Thanks for sharing all this printing stuff. Ive learned a lot from these videos. (And failed miserably too 😂)
Thanks for watching BigGuy, I hope that you get your issues solved and get some good prints soon.
Hey James ,great video tonight, thanks for showing the 3D printers, I think that is so wonderful ,and I like the two cars you showed. 👍👍👍👍👍👌

Right back at you Keith, have a happy New Year!
Really cool video, James! 3d printing is fascinating, just not for me, currently. Maybe one day. Thank you!
Thanks bud, glad that you enjoyed the video 👍
James good video, how well does the air purification work, are you able to be around the printer when it's working
Hi Terry, it works pretty good. I do turn on my paint booth while I’m printing to evacuate any fumes in the room. I wouldn’t have one in my office next to me while I work.
Keep Steph on the camera did a great job
She did a phenomenal job behind the camera. She's awesome!

Very cool video James nice printers how much wanted to get one but don’t think I could run it
They aren't for everyone Eddie, I've been playing with them for over a year now and still haven't figured them out completely.
Thank you for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching Ronny!

Curious what you have under your printers, is it just silicone mats?
Yes, I have silicon mats under the printers to keep the drips from falling down onto the stuff below them. If I had a spill it wouldn't do much good.
G'day James

My biggest problem with 3D printing cars is that I now totally ignore my stash of hundreds of unbuilt old kits... 😊
Tell me about it! I have the same issue. Whatever I’m printing is the new shiny toy.
just got a saturn 3 ultra. what resin would you reccomend?
I enjoy Elegoo’s 8k resin line. My favorite colors are Vanilla and White Smoke. I like the lighter colors because they can easily be painted lighter colors without a ton of white primer.

Thanks Travis, I appreciate you man!
I'm looking at the Saturn 4 Ultra😂.
That one in my opinion is the best one on the market right now. Maybe Elegoo will send me one of those next?

I'm a ragtop guy myself. I just bought a BMW 135i over the summer to play with on nice days.
@@ScaleModelExperiment oh very nice enjoy sounds awsome, 👍
The Ultra 4 is so much faster than the 3 I have both of them
Interesting! Even at high quality .025? I slowed down the 3 ultra because I was getting failures. Now it’s flawless.
@ the 3 likes siratech resin the 4 like Elegoo abs like resin
Gotcha Buster. Thanks!
